This property is not maintained well. No pool towels like they stated. The pool towels that were returned in the bin next to the womens bathroom were never emptied and washed from Friday-Sunday. They lady at the desk kept saying they were short towels because nobody returns them. But maybe they should wash the dirty ones that are at the pool! The kayaks were never unlocked due to wind. One paddleboard for all the guests was in the lagoon. The bathrooms near the pool were filthy. No water pressure in our 3rd floor room. I couldnt even get the shampoo out of my hair. And to top it off on the second night we discovered out pillows were never changed from the prior guests. One pillow had a prior guests POPCORN in the pillowcase. We did not have popcorn! Very disappointed in our stay. The front desk lady when checking out just said "sorry they are suppose to change all pillowcases when changing over the room" when i told her about the pillowcase! And the pool is small, freezing, and cloudy. You cant see your feet. The room on the 3rd floor we were in had a very loud ac that never stopped clicking.

We were woked up at 6:30 am because a tree trimming service was trimming the palm trees, our room was never cleaned, the shower had very little water pressure. The bed was too harm to sleep on, tge pillows were too flat and tge elevator was broken. The elder lady at the front desk was always not attending to our needs. The hotel doesn't even offer breakfast

The check in was terrible. The older lady did not know how to check us in and needed assistance from the younger woman for every task (I don't think she completed one). She tried to cover her incompetence with friendly banter which was annoying. Had to come back to office because key did not work. Slick walking surfaces in the rain. The room was nice- the grounds were nice and use of kayaks was appreciated. Generous outdoor area.

Location wise is nice . The room is not bad but the towels are not so clean . Some smells like tobacco . It need to be wash throughly if I can say . All in all I just love the location of this hotel and the people at the receptions are friendly as well .

Room 101 was effectively unavailable from 10am to 4pm, on 1/20 due to landscaping operations. Wood chipper was running 6 ft from room deck, palm frond and tree debris fell on deck while tree trimming. Extremely loud and somewhat unsafe. But safer than tree trimming next morning, when trees were being trimmed on path to pool/beach with uncontrolled access. No manager around on 4 attempts to contact TJ, left info at front desk for manager to call me, no response. No excuse for hotel manager not to be supervising work at heights on the property. No excuse for room with a deck that we paid premium for to have deck being unusable when we wanted it. And no excuse for manager not contacting me upon request. Also amenities are generally low quality for an oceanfront resort.

Great location. Close to everything. Unfortunately, this is a dated motel. Some damage to room furnishings, rust, etc. Although it looks like they tried to make some updates in recent history. Not as comfortable as expected. Staff were friendly. Pool and beach area were nice.

The hotel is in a great location and was very functional. The room was dated, and the cleaning service was inconsistent and not great. The winning part of the Bayside Inn is its position on the bay and that made it worth the stay. We think we would go there again because how much time do you spend in your room? If it had been raining it would be a different story.
