Kobe Portopia Hotel
"I like the wide lobby that has plenty of seats for guests. There is a familymart in the hotel to get supper bites and personal care items that you may need. And not forgeting the generously discounted car park rate 1000yen per night."

Remm Plus Kobe Sannomiya
"TL;DR - fantastic location, comfortable beds, Twin Room over the Double Room for space. Breakfast is typical but good and substantial. During this trip, we stayed in two different room types as the Twin Rooms were fully booked during a portion of our stay. The Double Room is cozy for two people. If only two carry-on bags, it would remain cozy. With two check-in bags, it became fairly tight. The bed is very comfortable, blanket great but we had to wrestle with both pillows to make it work as it sinks as you sleep. TV in front of the bed with standard channels. The bathroom has a shower sectioned from the toilet with a glass door, the wash basin is outside the bathroom in the entry. Overall, I would still stay in this room but would not be my first pick. Stayed in a Corner Twin Room in the second part. Stayed in this room type before and picked it again since we knew its proportions. In the room, two separate single (almost double) beds, small couch, small table, TV in front of the beds, and signature massage chair. In the bathroom area, bath tub and shower are in the same room but separated; wash basin as you walk in; and the toilet in its own room. The curtains are electronic which is a nice touch. We were able to move around freely with our luggage bags tucked away or on the couch. Again, beds and blanket are comfortable but similar pillows so similar approach as before. Breakfast is standard, with Western and Japanese options."
