Great location!
The hotel was situated on a beautiful, one-way street walkable to the Sannomiya station and the harbour. Check-in was relatively easy with a ticket/qr code from the counter and then the kiosk for the key cards - the same kiosk was used for returning the key cards and check out.
The on-site Italian restaurant was popular among the locals but offered a 10% off discount for those staying at the hotel: service and food was great for the lunch buffet we had.
The room we had for our family of 4 with small children was located on the top floor (16F): it was spacious, housing two large beds, a living area with a big desk and coffee table (for those eat-in meals) and had a mini fridge (with freezer) and microwave oven. The bathroom was equally spacious, with a well-appointed bathtub and two wash basins; toilet was separate at the entrance and also had its own wash basin. Lighting and its control was well designed and the curtain could block out lights fully.
We used the coin-operated laundry located on the 10F - it was a washer and dryer combined; we did need additional drying for our large load of laundry.
The "lobby" next to the reception was relaxing as we checked out and explored the city once more until after lunch time. The surrounding of the hotel was relaxing and quiet: this is very different to what we anticipated, understanding the central location of this hotel previously.
