A nightmare. Cleaning solutions and covered up stink was horrible. Really nasty. The website said it is pet-friendly. The desk attendant said that pets are not allowed so I had no room. He barely spoke english, offered no apology for the confusion, offered no help, no suggestions. Just said, "No pets allowed" with a blank stare. Thank goodness I have a friend in town where I could go and regroup and find another hotel. Super 8 should be ashamed to have this hotel in their chain. Very ashamed. I didn't realize Super 8s were so nasty. I will never, ever book one again.

The mattress was askew so I had to try and straighten it so I could get into it. At first I thought the bed was broken somehow because I fell trying to get in it was so far off the base. I don't know how the mattress ended up that way but it was a shock, to say the least.

BEWARE- scam on amenities

When I arrived, I realized that to get anywhere within the hotel, I had to go up or downstairs, and there was no elevator, contrary to the fact that it said it was ADA accessible. I could not find anybody to check in to my room, and when I called the number listed at the front desk, it rang to the front desk. Another patron came up and started asking how much we paid and then proceeded to tell us that he was homeless and paid half of what we paid for our room. it made me very uncomfortable. When the staff member finally came to the desk after about five minutes of waiting, he told me that I had to pay a deposit on which I refused. When I asked about the ADA accessibility, he said that it was one floor down and accessible from an outside entrance, but the room that he had available for us with the two beds that we needed was on the second floor, so I had no choice, but to maneuver upstairs with great difficulty. Also, if he had put us in the ADA accessible room, the only way to get in and out of it would be an outside entrance with no accessibility to the lobby. The entire hotel smelled like fish, like some of us cooking in one of the rooms. Our bathroom door was broken, we had broken tiles on the floor in the bathroom, the room carpet had not been vacuumed, and the air conditioner was not properly blowing. The next morning when I went down for the complementary breakfast, there was nothing and I had to go find a staff member again and ask if anything was going to be set out.

There was no elevator and our room was on the 3rd floor with a toddler and handicapped tags. The only option for hot breakfast was waffles and even tho it clearly stated “all taxes and fees included what you see is what you pay” I still had to pay a $50 deposit. I didn’t have cash so I had to use the atm-which cost me a $3.50 fee and since it only gave me 20’s and they didn’t have change so I had to give them $60. I could have paid it with my card but wouldn’t have gotten it back for 7-10 days. Very inconvenient! The pillows were sub-par and the dripping faucet kept us awake all night. On a good note the staff was friendly and the a/c worked great!

Not a clean place.

We just had a one night stay. The covering on the bed looked disgusting. It had what looked like drops of blood on it. Also looked like it wasn’t cleaned in a while. The bathroom had hair in the drain and filth on the floor. Everything needed a good cleaning. Even the curtains were dirty
