While the room was very quiet and the hotel was in a clean condition I really don’t appreciate finding a mason jar and a large sandwich bag full of marijuana in one of the draws. As funny as it sounds. I am traveling through from state to state and Iowa has a no tolerance for said substance. If I lived here I just would have passed it on to a friend but it’s not worth the risk. The desk clerk looked at it and said what is this and the best he could do is change my room. Ever ever had I been so disappointed as I would have thought the rooms should have been cleaned and everything should have been opened and checked. Other than that the new room smelled clean and it was clean

This prophase recently considered for a homeless shelter, already has many homeless occupying. Parking lot is full of holes and reeks of pot. Avoid unless you want to experience a homeless environment.

Great hotel

i've never stayed at La Quinta Inn. I thought it was a really nice hotel. The only thing I did not like was their thick hard pillows!! Please mix squishy pillows for an oprion! But really nice otherwise and good bed!

It was a convenient location but overall the stay was not good. The hotel lacks cleanliness, because there were bugs seen in my room. At night you could hear people constantly walking and talking around. However, the staff were friendly but I would not come back here.
