Wonderful

Lovely villa. Clean and well maintained. Owners were lovely,very friendly, helpful and eager to please. Communication with Lisa before the start of our holiday was brilliant, we had meals ordered and restuarants booked all before we arrived. Excellent. Cars are essential though for shopping etc. Had a fantastic week, it was gone in a flash.!!

perfect holiday!

Just got back from a wonderful week away to casa pino solo. It's the first time I've organised such a large group (there was 17 of us in total) and Lisa and Nige were there every step of the way. My boyfriend turned 30 and a mixture of friends and family joined us to celebrate. The villa is wonderfully well kept and Nige was there maintaining the pool and hottub everyday to ensure it was kept perfect. We were the first to try out magic minerals in the pool and it really made a refreshing change from the chlorine in normal pools... A luxurious spa treatment almost! Lisa was like a long lost pen pal by the time I got there! Helping me to sort out transfers, taxis, meals out and an excursion away to Granada And even helped to get food delivered into the villa on the day of the arrival so we didn't have to rush to the supermarket! I'd deffinately reccommend the paella making evening at the local restaurant and the chicken and chips delivery! Great! Pepe's bar is very reasonable and only a 10 minute walk away, taxis can be arranged through local friends Jeff and Darrel who were knoledgeable guides to the local area and couldn't do enough for you. We were extremely lucky to have excellent weather to top off one of the best breaks we've had. Everyone is singing the praises of the holiday and my organisation skills!! Thanks Lisa and Nige!!! Hope to visit again one day!

Celebration for a 50th and 18th

Well were to start! Firstly Lisa and Nigel are THE MOST helpful hosts we have EVER had the pleasure to meet whilst on holiday in a villa! Nothing was ever to much trouble. They organised restaurants for a lovely meal , booked us coaches for days/nights out, organised takeaways, which is a MUST the food was to die for we ordered it two nights and recommended to visit Iznajar Lake and beach which was AMAZING!!👍 The little pub up the hill they told us to try out was also a hit, Pepe and Higieno (Who cooks and delivers your takeaway food) was so friendly and also go out their way for you, again nothing was to much trouble for a large group of 16 and its only a stroll back down aswell 😉 THE VILLA ❤ Spotlessly clean 👌 Smells beautifully fresh Extra Large squshy sofa to squash into to watch a movie was devine. The beds are soooo comfy we all raved about them EVERY morning 🤣 The quilts and bedding are top quality! Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Beer fridge was perfect for larger groups. Lots of seating areas to relax in or sit in the sun with a beer. Hot tub was a hit when it got cooler. Pool was perfect no salt or chlorine water just minerals 🥰 Pool table and table tennis was great. The roof terrace is just outstanding the views up there are breathtaking and gorgeous to wake up to ❤ We CANNOT fault Casa Pino Solo in ANY way it was PERFECT just like the hosts!! Nigel and Lisa thankyou from the bottom of my heart you was so lovely. Xx

Fab 40th with my family

Having just come back from a weeks holiday 24th April 09- 1st May 09 at this wonderful villa i cannot think of anywhere else i have been where the owners have gone so far in making you feel at home and welcome . Lisa and Nige are gems they have thought of everything at this villa from Dressing gowns,Playstations and numerous books and DVDS to heated out door pools and patio heaters . Nothing was too much for them and thay hung decorations and ordered cakes in for the 3 birthdays we had whilst away and they put on a lovely BBQ for my Hawaaiian themed 40th party around the pool. Lisa and Nigel are friendly and charming and full of excellent information regarding the area . We loved our very relaxing stay in the beutiful Andulusian hills . even if dad couldnt get a close up photo of the Harrier birds !!!!!! we made use of the beautician Sarah recommended and organised through Lisa and we also used the wonderful Paella man for a delicious seafood platter recommended . The views were spectacular and we spent many a day lazing around the villa in the hottub or pool or using the games facilities. AS a large family we couldnt have chosen a nicer location or villa to be able to have your own space or gather together for al fresco dining in the evenings. Even when it was cooler in the evenings there were outdoor patio heaters . We even had the use of a kareoke machine to sing our drunken ballards late at night ...................cant praise Nige and lisa enough for a fantastic week away and everyone thought the beds were soooo comfortable if we could have packed them in our luggage we would have done ..thanku thanku thanku x

COMO EN NUESTRA PROPIA CASA

Hemos estado en la primera semana de Diciembre, y he de decir que ha sido una estancia de la que siempre guardaremos un muy agradable recuerdo. La casa es espectacular, tiene absolutamente de todo y además en perfectas condiciones (ping-pong, dardos, billar, mesa para naipes,mountain bike, jacuzzi, piscina climatizada, barbacoa, varias cocinas, neveras y congeladores, calefactores de exterior, playstation2, películas, juegos, libros, rincón chill out exterior..). A pesar de ser invierno y que incluso una de las noches hubo una helada, la calefacción funciona a la perfección, el aislamiento es perfecto. Hemos estado 13 personas, 3 bebés y una niña pequeña, y las instalaciones son muy confortables para todos. El entorno es muy bonito, en plena sierra y al lado del pantano de Iznájar, del propio pueblo y de Rute. Y lo más importante, Lisa y Nigel son las personas más encantadoras, atentas, educadas, simpáticas y serviciales que he conocido de todos los alojamientos rurales en los que hemos estado. Se preocupan de que uno se encuentre como en su propia casa. En resumen, un 10 para la casa y un 11 para Lisa y Nigel. Estamos deseando repetir.Besos para los dos.

Excelente estancia en esta propiedad

Hola, escribo con tardanza a esta propiedad ya que estuve hace unos meses alojada, pero no quería dejar de escribir este comentario puesto que mi estancia en esta propiedad fue excelente! Todo estuvo a la altura: el trato por parte de los dueños fue amabilisimo y muy atento, la casa muy limpia y en perfecto estado, un entorno muy agradable perfecto para pasar unos dias tranquilos y relajados... quedamos muy satisfechos con todo en general. La descripción del anuncio era totalmente acorde a la realidad, agradecemos ese punto porque no todos los anuncios son tan veraces como el de esta propiedad, tanto la casa como los alrededores a la casa eran tal y como describian en el anuncio. Como he dicho antes el trato por parte del matrimonio propietario fue exquisito, es más a nuestra llegada incluso nos hicieron obsequio de vino, comida y algún que otro detalle más para nuestro fin de semana, muy atentos en todo momento, accesibles siempre para todas las dudas y consultas que nos surgieron... en definitiva un trato que quería agradecer puesto que es algo que valoramos muchísimo. La propiedad estaba al lado de Iznajar un puelo muy agradable para visitar por no hablar del pantano y los alrededores preciosos para pasear... todo esto junto con la guia de restaurantes que tambien podíamos visitar lo en contramos en la casa lo que nos facilitó mucho nuestra elección. También tenemos que decir que la propiedad está muy bien organizada porque aunque nosotros viajamos en pareja, solo exclusivamente dos personas, está también preparada para un alojamiento tanto de un grupo grande como para una pareja porque el complejo está muy bien organizado para tener intimidad y para viajar en familia o grupo. La propiedad dispone de una zona exterior- porche muy bien cuidada con distracciones como una mesa de billar, mesa de ping-pong , jacuzzi exterior muy bonito, piscina muy limpia, etc... En definitiva, quedamos muy satisfechos por todo lo que antes he comentado y valorado por ello si quiero repetir un fin de semana lo haré en este propiedad y seguramente si me piden opinión la recomendaré a mi familia y amigos ( de hecho ya la hemos recomendado). Ah! y el precio fue mu accesible , la relación calidad- precio excepcional! Si además de pasar un fin de semana en un sitio agradable lo haces a buen precio que más se puede pedir! tres grande maison bien située au milieu de forets d'oliviers

Ce pied à terre au centre de l'Andalousie nous a permis de visiter Grenade Cordoue Malaga et Ronda facilement (Séville est plus loin avec 2h de route mais nous l'avons visiter à l'arrivée et au départ) . Rentrer le soir et profiter du jacuzzi avec 9°C dehors était fort sympathique même si on attendait plutôt un grand soleil et 25°C ! Les propriétaires sont charmants.

Wonderful week

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Casa Pino Solo to celebrate mine and my friend's 50th birthdays. The house is exactly like the pics and I can confirm all the other wonderful reviews. Lisa was fantastic with organising everything from ordering meals in on some evenings, organising two lovely restaurants and arranging for the beauty therapist to spend a day at the house. It was just heaven for a week. So much fun. I couldn't recommend this property and the owners enough!! Thank you Lisa and Nige.

Vi var 18 personer fra 0- 70 år. Huset kunne rumme os alle og alt levede op til flotteste standard.

Et fantastisk hus, som i den grad levede op til beskrivelsen. En udsøgt service og imødekommenhed af Nigel og Lisa. Vi havde en dejlig ferie med plads og rum til os alle.

Just Perfect

What more can be said about Casa Pino Solo that hundreds of people haven't already said ? A fabulous villa in an idyllic setting with top class facilities, to suit all ages. We were a large family group, children to Grandparents and everyone had a fantastic holiday. Everyone made use of the fantastic swimming pool and hot tub. Lots of competitions for the sporty ones pool and table tennis. Lots of chillaxing areas for a quiet drink or a snooze. Fab furniture and extremely comfortable beds with luxurious bedding. Lisa & Nige were extremely helpful and ordered Paella to be delivered to the Villa from the local bar/restaurant Los Pajaritos which was delicious. Easy drive into Iznajar, a beautiful village, visits to Granada & Cordoba are a must. Looking forward to a return trip

Absolutely Amazing

I want to right this review as this villa was just amazing. A big group of us stayed here in July 2017 and we all loved it. The quality of the villa is second to none,the beds were so so comfy. Hours and hours of fun was spent with out kids in the pool,its chlorine free too and we love that it is gated. Us as parents could just relax and not worry about the kids at all. 100% i would recommend this villa to everyone. The location is fantastc and just 5 minutes down the road is the beach and lake. We will be back for sure. Thanks LIsa and Nigel for your care and attention throughout the holiday,fantastic couple xxxxx

Wonderful holiday

Where to start with this beautiful property. We travelled as a large family group and this villa had something for everyone. From the swimming pool to the hot tub, the pool table to the dart board- there is plenty to do. Scenery is also spectacular. Incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean there is nothing to fault at all. Lisa and Nigel cannot do enough for you and their knowledge of surrounding areas is excellent. They will also advise on best restaurants etc if you want to eat out - lovely couple who go out of their way to make your holiday experience amazing. Can’t wait to go back. We have had many villa holidays but none have been as good as this.

Took the whole family, 10 adults and 9 kids aged from 6 to 17 and had the most wonderful holiday. The villa had everything you could possibly need, the scenery was amazing and Nigel was a mine of information.

The house is fantastic - well situated and full of lovely touches. Swimming pool & Hot tub Brilliant

This large house was perfect in many ways. Easy to keep the sun out and the rooms cool, the weather was perfect. The swimming pool was a cool refreshment and there were lots of fridges for those ice cool drinks. The hot tub was great in the morning when cool and the evening when the starry night was a beautiful sight to behold. A lovely family home for great Spanish holidays.... The house has easy access from Malaga Airport and is a good base to explore this area of olive groves and pretty stone village on the top of the steep hills The owners Lisa and Nigel are so friendly and good, the week went very smoothly and made for one of our better holidays . Perfection

Villa casa pino solo is the place to be for relaxation. The best thing for me was that it was so suitable for a wheelchair. I've had some serious problems with past villas. This one was perfect. Spotlessly clean and well cared for. Great views from all terraces. The owners Lisa and Nigel couldn't be more efficient and helpful. Arranged food deliveries. Booked resteraunts and taxis for us. We were a family of 16 and would definitely go back.

nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour accueil super Lisa et Derry adorables les courses avaient été faites pour le dîner et le petit déjeuner la piscine et jacuzzi nettoyés tous les jours rien à dire très propre nous recommandons le lac à proximité Iznajar beau village Cordoue Grenade faciles d'accès ( attention réserver entrées à l'Alhambra au moins 2 mois auparavant par le net pour obtenir une entrée ) nous n'avons pu en profiter dommage que des louanges ! la caution a été remboursée la semaine suivante notre séjour

Our stay on casa pino solo was marvelous, the house is confortable, we were 20, 9 adultes and 11 children( 16,15,10,8,8,7,5,2,1,6,4. The house is perfect for four families and grand parents. Our hosts were very help full and sympatical. The house was clean, and well situated. WE visited Séville, Cordoue, and Grenade, easily. superb property with very friendly owners

This property is great. It has loads of space, lots of facilities and is in an excellent location within easy reach of the small town of Iznajar and its lake. The young people in our family group enjoyed the pool, the pool table and the dartboard. Everybody enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi. Nige visited every morning to take away the rubbish and to clean the pool and jacuzzi. He didn't disturb us but if we needed him he was there. The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of bathrooms. In the evening some people watched films in the lounge / home cinema while others played games with the children outside. We went to Granada to see the Alhambra Palace (about one hour's drive) and we spent some time exploring Iznajar. On the day we arrived Lisa had organised a take away from the local bar and it was excellent. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit this part of Spain.

Fourth visit and we still want more!

We have a rather large family, so finding accommodation to fit us all with space to escape isn't always easy! So when we found Casa Pino Solo for the first time in 2009, we knew we were on to a winner. We returned this summer for the 4th time as a family for multiple birthday celebrations and where overwhelmed at how Lisa & Nigel manage to improve the villa more and more with each visit. Newly decorated rooms, huge TV with an incredible movie selection, memory foam mattress's and a superb new pool system that doesn't use chlorine - so no stinging eyes or smelly skin - which was also fab for my 2 year old and 3 month old! Lisa & Nigel are the most incredible hosts too - nothing is too much and this year we enjoyed take out food deliveries from local businesses every evening - meaning of you want to relax and not worry about cooking, your wonderful hosts are happy to help. And take out food doesn't mean fast food with them - Tagine, Tapas, Paella and Spitroast chickens to name a few! The lake has evolved too, with a splendid beach and two cafe restaurants, sun loungers, umbrellas and boats to hire. The lake is just beautiful to swim in too!! I cannot recommend this place enough - for a relaxing holiday, you don't need to look any further than Casa Pino Solo. I'm sure we'll be having a 5th visit soon!!

Brilliant place our 4 th Time this June. !!!

Thank you Nigel and Lisa for yet again an amazing week away. It has been more than a couple of years since our last stay and yet again money has been spent on making our stay even more wonderful such as the new hot tub , new water system in the pool , updated rooms with wonderful memory foam mattresses and new lounge furniture as well as loads of films to watch on the huge TV, and of course the lovely huge shower room. We love our extended family holidays here . Each time we come there is more and more to offer us in nights out, meals in . You look after us so well when we are here even printing off my boarding passes and delivering them to us when we were going home. You are passionate about Casa pino solo and it shows in your attention to detail and all that you offer us .........................are we coming back ??? you bet we are :-) see you soon xxxx
