Although the apartment is located in the village of Istan, nestled in the mountains and away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is conveniently close to everything you could wish for during your vacation in Marbella. Istan is reached by a mountain road, which adds a special charm to the drive, offering spectacular views, an immersion in nature and the advantage of not having to deal with a lot of traffic. The prestigious Puente Romano is only a 10-minute drive away and the center (old town) of Marbella is 12 minutes away, as is the famous and vibrant Puerto Banús - this means that the best beaches, restaurants, stores and nightlife in the area are within easy driving distance.
If you are a golf enthusiast, we recommend Los Naranjos Golf Club and La Quinta Golf & Country Club, two popular local courses less than 10 km from the property.
This apartment consists of: two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite), a spacious living-dining room connected to the fully equipped kitchen and with access to the large furnished terrace and garden.
Upon entering the apartment you will be greeted by the dressing room with a large built-in closet. Next to it is the living-dining room, furnished with a sofa for 3 people, two comfortable armchairs, a smart TV, a coffee table and a nice circular dining table with seating for 4 people. The adjoining kitchen, with an opening to the living room, is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances: refrigerator, induction hob, oven, microwave, rice cooker, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and all the basic and necessary kitchenware.
From the windows of the living room you can access the spacious outdoor area of the property. The covered terrace has a dining table for 6 people, a chill-out area with comfortable seating for 7, as well as two ceiling fans and drop-down awnings for when the Mediterranean sun is too intense. Furthermore, there is a glassed-in section of the terrace, which houses a sofa, an armchair, a desk, some children\'s toys and a telescope. The private garden is in itself an outstanding feature, due to its lush green vegetation, including a variety of mini-palm trees. Last but not least, the incredible panoramic views from the terrace are breathtaking. The surrounding mountains, the Spanish coast, Gibraltar and Morocco combine to create a truly magnificent picture.
The master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom, while the secondary bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling windows that provide natural light, plenty of fresh air and access to the outdoor area of the property and the incredible views. In addition, both have their own built-in closets, translucent and black-out curtains, as well as ceiling fans for those who prefer not to use air conditioning. Both bathrooms have very spacious showers.
In addition, the apartment has an alarm system, high speed internet, centralized air conditioning/heating, washing machine, ironing equipment, towels and bed linen to ensure a totally comfortable stay.
As for the urbanization Balcones del Lago, it has two large swimming pools and one for children (open from 10:00 to 22:00, subject to availability). It is also surrounded by countryside, making it ideal for long walks.
