Stunning Oceanfront Studio w/Plunge Pool

Some of our guests have said they felt like they were on a cruise ship; you are just that close to the ocean. Casita Sonrisa is a gorgeous studio apartment where you can wake up watching the sunrise without even having to leave the comfort of your king-size bed. If you are not an early riser, there are room-darkening drapes, but we encourage you to leave them open at least one night during your stay and watch the first rays of sun as they touch Mexico’s easternmost shores.

The sliding glass doors open onto a furnished terrace that has breathtaking views of the ocean and also has private access onto the malecon for morning jogs or walks to beautiful Playa Norte and the downtown area. The furnished terrace includes a hammock for relaxing and enjoying morning sunrises and afternoon shade as well as a new plunge pool for cooling off on those hotter days.

The kitchen is complete with everything to prepare full-course meals or to make your favorite drinks and snacks. A sitting area near the kitchen has a couch-styled twin daybed for an extra guest and an oversized closet for storage and extra linens. The colorful bathroom includes a walk-in shower, a talavera sink, and hand-painted tiling throughout.

Casita Sonrisa is perfect for couples, a family with a young child, or those that want to get out and walk or jog along the sea from your own back door.
