The place is showing both its age and the efforts made to update. Room was immaculate. We checked in late and left early on a time schedule, but the lake view was nice and the place was easy to find.

What a gem! This is a very cosy, small hotel on a quiet road. Owners were welcoming and provided lovely touches and TLC: there's a patio with flowers, a picnic table by the beach, boats to rent, nice breakfast options (fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, juice boxes), ice was available and beach towels, etc. We had a room with one queen bed. It was very clean. It was small, but had a desk area, fridge, microwave, and everything we needed. The room's window overlooked a peaceful lake, and we heard loons calling. A grocery store and many dining options are a half-mile down the road. Would definitely stay again--but for longer next time!

Great lake view. Some issues with tv, possibly due to weather, also no instructions for use and channel selection. Could use more outlets for coffee pot etc. Small table would be nice for table games in room, possibly a folder.

Worth getting the reservation in early

We stay here while diving at Fortune Pond if we are only in town for a couple nights. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is appointed nicely.

This hotel stay was a last-minute add on to our trip. I was so pleased with the accommodations! I wish we could have extended our vacation to stay an extra night. The room was clean and comfortable, and we loved the amenities that we used on the lake. However, what I appreciated most were the way the owners interacted with the guests. When we returned from dinner the owners were building a bonfire, and spent some time talking with the guests around the fire. In the morning, there was a large table that the guests could sit around and talk to each other while eating breakfast. The owners seem to care about their guests, and the experience that they have. I would recommend this hotel to others, and would stay again with no hesitation.

This is in my hometown. I was there for a wedding. I had an unexpected and unpleasant experience at another motel in Mackinaw City. Lakeshore Motel is clean, quiet and the owners are very pleasant.

They hold it down here!

Very kind folks running this family owned business. Definitely happy with my stay! They have a continental breakfast too which is unfortunately not that common with small town motels but these folks hold it down!
