Staff was nice hotel seemed clean but had a musty smell. I went and bought plug in room air fresheners for our rooms to cover the smell. Otherwise all was very well amd breakfast was nice too and the waffle maker was a great option!

The facility was clean but the bed and pillows were not comfortable at all bed was hard as a rock and pillows were little like decorative pillows. Didn’t end up staying our second night due to how bad bed was. Asked if they had a pillow topper and new pillows and couldn’t speak English so had no clue what we were asking for.

The breakfast was fine but some additional fruit options would have been nice. The room was clean enough, but there were several places that needed repairs/updates: the shower rod was pulling out of the wall at both ends, grout and trim work wasn't great, decor in entryway was seasonal (scary-ish) but not attractive (pumpkin-themed decor would've been more attractive and inviting and longer-lasting--well into November), everything in the building needed an update.

Easy stay en route

I stayed one night, arriving late. I had pre-booked on Hotels.com and told the hotel my arrival time so the receptionist was ready for me. The hotel was right off of the highway and easy to find. The room was clean and comfortable. I caught breakfast toward the end of the breakfast period so oatmeal and eggs were almost out and there was no sausage, but the other food was adequate and tasty. Checkout was simple. It was convenient for me and would be convenient for travelers passing through.

Room was great. Area not the best but ok. Breakfast finishing at 9am seemed a bit early to me, especially on a weekend. I guess it’s okay if you are there for work but we weren’t.

Upon entering the hotel, we were immediately greeted by the sound of dogs barking, which raised some concerns about nearby pets potentially being close to our room. While we appreciate a pet-friendly environment, the noise level was unexpected. Additionally, we noticed some maintenance issues during our stay. The bathroom floor tiles were loose, which detracted from the overall impression of cleanliness and upkeep. Furthermore, the air vents and cold air returns were filthy, filled with dust and debris, which was quite off-putting. Overall, while the hotel has potential, attention to cleanliness and maintenance is needed to enhance the guest experience.
