Gran retiro familiar en una granja privada

Se trata de una granja muy especial de 200 años de edad, ex lácteos (más de 3900 pies cuadrados de la casa) en 72 Acres. 2 estanques sembrados y un montón de espacio para grandes reuniones, reuniones familiares, retiros ejecutivos, o simplemente para relajarse en reclusión privada.

La cubierta superior, el gran porche, el pozo de fuego y las áreas de patio proporcionan áreas de reunión únicas.

La experiencia real con esta propiedad se disfruta en el exterior y usted y sus invitados pueden pasar todo el día relajándose y explorando la propiedad. Es verdaderamente sereno y tranquilo. Dicho esto, la casa en sí es cómodo y bien establecido para permitir a todo el mundo de su propio espacio.

La ubicación también es ideal para visitar el centro de Washington DC o Baltimore (unos 45 minutos en coche fácil para cada uno). El centro de Urbana, Maryland, está a sólo 5 minutos para comer y tiendas de comestibles. El centro de Frederick está a unos 10 minutos y tiene muchos excelentes restaurantes, antigüedades y mucho que hacer.

La finca cuenta con cabras, patos, gansos, gallinas, gatos y caballos. Venga a ver las cabras del bebé en la primavera y tener huevos frescos de granja para el desayuno cada mañana.

Hay 2 estanques sembrados (perca americana, agallas azules, pez gato, y el tipo de pez). Se permite la pesca sin permiso especial o licencia MD, aunque bajo es captura y liberación solamente. Se puede nadar en el estanque superior.

La caza está permitida en la propiedad, pero sólo con el permiso especial y suplemento. Caza de los ciervos solamente, durante la temporada normal de caza ciervos MD.

Las palabras no pueden describir lo bonita esta propiedad es en realidad. Duerme 14 fácilmente, y el ático terminado puede dormir varios niños.

   Además, tenemos 3 colchones hinchables Queen muy agradables que se pueden instalar en el ático o en una o en las dos habitaciones del frente.

La cocina es completamente moderna con todos los electrodomésticos nuevos instalados en 2017. Nuevos mostradores de granito, pisos y pintura se completaron en 2019. La cocina está equipada con casi todos los artículos que desea en una cocina. También hay dos parrillas en la casa (carbón y propano)

La casa tiene 2 televisores. Un televisor en la sala de estar de la planta baja y un televisor en el ático (en el espacio que hemos creado específicamente para los niños para pasar el rato en). La casa también cuenta con TV por cable, DVD y acceso inalámbrico fuerte.

La estructura principal de la casa tiene más de 200 años de antigüedad, construido en madera de castaño, y los registros han sido expuestos a ayudar a añadir al encanto y la historia de la propiedad. Hay un pequeño edificio de piedra en la propiedad que originalmente funcionaba como un ahumadero y vivienda para la ayuda de la granja.

2 baños completos en la granja, y un gran baño al aire libre con ducha en el antiguo establo lechero adyacente.

House cuenta con plomería moderna, juego completo de electrodomésticos de cocina nuevos y lavadora / secadora estándar. 3 estufas de leña ayudan a aumentar el calor y añaden encanto y experiencia a la propiedad. Leña para la casa y el pozo de fuego está incluido en el costo del alquiler.

*** Nota - El baño superior está unida a un dormitorio, y así nadie de ir al baño superior tendrá que pasar por el dormitorio para el acceso. Fun farm

We spent a thanksgiving at the farm and it was great. The animals are fun to feed and the house had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked as well.

Perfect seclusion for an intimate and relaxing setting

Heaven on earth

What a wonderful slice of life on the farm which we all enjoyed! The animals are quiet at night but happy to say hello and/or be fed some apples during the day. It is perfect for 5-9 adults, 14 adults may be too many because there is only one bathroom on the 2nd floor (accessible thru one of the bedrooms. The sunrise and night sky were gorgeous from the upper patio. Your group will love life in this renovated 1700s farmhouse full of patios, porches, fireplaces and firepits! Thank you.

A wonderful Farmhouse with lots of character

A very unique house which was great for a small group. Lots of farm animals around which added to the experience. If we ever need to rent a place again in or around Frederick, we'll definitely be looking at this house. Highly recommend.

A slice of heaven

It was so wonderful to see our teens all unplug and experience the property. They loved fishing and spending time with the goats. The outdoor shower was so fun for them too 😄 Thank you for an amazing stay. The house was nice and cool after hot days on the lacrosse field. We slept amazing. Truly felt like home away from home 💕

Fun Farm Time

Our experience was wonderful. Our son got married and the location was perfect for us. The house is stunning, the land and farm animals were bonus. Jeff was a wonderful host. We spent most of our time on the back screen porch- it was so restful and peaceful. We will be back, when we don't have a wedding to attend to! My 14 year old daughter was off of her phone and out with the animals the entire time! Thank you, Jeff!

Private Farmhouse

We had a family reunion/ thanksgiving/ and celebration of a 90 th birthday at the farm. We loved the property. It was very kid friendly we had toddlers ages 2-4 that especially loved helping feed the goats and hanging out in the playroom. For the adults we enjoyed the calm laid back atmosphere. We would definitely book again

A magical place

Fantastic location -- nothing soothes the soul like waking up every morning and feeding goats and horses, or petting Precious the Cat. If you're looking to spend a weekend in Frederick with friends, this is the place to be.

Fun Times on the Farm

We had a most fantastic weekend on the farm! The house was spacious with modern amenities while maintaining the charm of its 200 year old origins. The weather didn’t fully cooperate, but the large covered porch was the perfect spot for our family to sit and watch the rain while the kiddos enjoyed the tic tac toe and jenga blocks. The location is perfectly situated within minutes of the city of Frederick and just a short drive from various wineries and breweries. We all enjoyed the farm itself…the goats provided lots of entertainment, the fields and barns gave the kids lots of space to roam, and everyone was excited to snag at least one fish from the ponds. The host was responsive, provided suggestions, and maintained communication throughout the weekend to ensure our happiness. We all agreed that this was one of the very best experiences that we’ve had! Many thanks to Jeff for making his home available!

Beautiful farmhouse!

We stayed with family for Christmas. The farmhouse was very charming and well appointed. The farm is full of horses and goats that are so fun to be around. We will definitely be back soon!

BIG part of the Best Day Ever!

Our experience at the farm was beyond fantastic. The owners and property managers are wonderful and extremely considerate. We felt very welcomed to a stay at what felt like a family home, not a rental. The property is beautiful and the house is very large, but feels extremely cozy. We had lots of space and comfort with 10 adults and 4 children. The beds were comfortable and each room is unique, which definitely added to the stay. My family just absolutely loved the house, and kept repeating it, like every future large family gathering should take place there. We took advantage of the fire pit and the grounds. The kids really enjoyed running around and feeding the goats and petting the friendly farm cat. This was the second time that we have stayed at the farm. When I got engaged last year, I couldn't picture my wedding weekend without a stay there. This second experience was as wonderful as the first. Out of town family gathered together along with the bridal party, such a lovely place truly added to our beautiful weekend. We were able to take some pictures there between the ceremony and reception on the gorgeous grounds and the pictures are stunning. This is such a magical place run by kind people. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you for sharing the farm with us, it was a big part of the best weekend of my life. ❤️💍🎃

Great family setting

We were here for a wedding. We only live 30 minutes away but we wanted to be close to the venue and have the whole family in a place where we could hang out instead of driving home or staying in hotel rooms. Everyone had a blast! Peaceful, plenty to do and 5 minutes from Glen Ellen Farms, where the wedding was.. Our 4 boys, ages 20 to 25, one fiancé and 3 dogs stayed with us. My mom and my brother and his wife stopped in to visit and stayed for the day because it was just such a beautiful and relaxing place. Our two friends, who were in town from Pittsburgh for the wedding, came over and said the place felt like home. Highly recommend!

Amazing property

We stayed here with a few families for a soccer tournament. It was the perfect location for us! The kids had an absolute blast being able to be outside all around the property. Jeff was very easy to communicate with and very thorough with his instructions! Would highly recommend this property

Family get together on the farm

We had a fantastic family get together at the farmhouse. There were 13 of us ranging in age from 13 to 83, and we all had a great time. The teenagers loved sleeping in the loft together, and there were plenty of rooms and beds for adults. There were so many indoor and outdoor places to hang out but we mostly relaxed on the fabulous screened porch. We enjoyed seeing the animals, hanging around a fire in the fire pit, and cooking in the big kitchen. The house is serene, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great weekend. We hope to go again!

Relaxing, transporting, wonderful trip

The property is incredibly scenic and was just what the family needed to unplug and relax. My father, typically a very go-get-‘em busy man that never chills actually got some much needed sleep because the environment was so calming and pleasant. It’s close enough to convenient spots, restaurants, grocery, etc, that the whole party was at ease. Highly recommend.

Great farm house experience….

We really enjoyed our stay at this amazing farm house. The property is beautiful and very relaxing. It was fun watching the goats, horses, geese and fishing in the pond. The owner was very responsive and provided all details about the house, property and animals. This a great spot for groups and I hope to come back soon with the kids.
