"This place has a rigid and unforgiving cancellation policy. I couldn’t stay here because our flight was canceled from Dallas on the way to Yellowstone. I called and told them I wouldn’t be able to use my reservation because we had to stay overnight in Dallas. The guy at the counter was friendly and just said he was sorry, but since I booked though a 3rd party he couldn’t issue a refund, I’d have to go through Hotels.com. I said ok but Hotels.com said they cant do a refund without permission of the hotel. They contacted the hotel and hotel said no. So, when I finally got to town, I went to the hotel and asked for a refund. Rebecca, at the front counter, said they are sticking with the 24 he cancellation policy. My flight wasn’t cancelled 24 hours before check in. I planned to stay there until American cancelled my flight 6 hours after check in. When exactly would I have been expected to call? I understand not giving 100% refund, it was a late cancellation, but even a partial refund would have been appreciated. Actually, even pretending like they cared even a little bit or were a little sympathetic or remotely understanding would have been appreciated. She said they were issuing refunds for people who booked directly with them, but who books directly with Atwell suites? Anyway, if you booked here and are flying, get the insurance."

"The rooms and all the motel was very clean. The beds are super comfortable. We really liked the black put shades that had mountain scenes on them. The only thing we did not like was no maid service We did tell the office staff and they apologized and would handle the complaint right away."
