My stay was pleasant with a good sized room and well designed en-suite. The aesthetic was decidedly corporate in feel and fitted theCheck-in was fine and relatively straightforward although the software design left something to be desired in terms of clarity. One or two slight niggles: no glass for the mineral water (nice touch) in room, bedding/room temperature not very warm. Room service fish and chips was quite nicely presented but was not as hot as it might have been and not all chunky chips were fully cooked. The service was very prompt and I would have been happy to wait a little longer to ensure the meal was piping hot. For some reason someone else’s screwed up receipt was also on the tray on which it was served.

Booked interconnecting rooms and called to confirm twice this was sorted and book breakfast. On arrival was told them rooms were opposite each other and wasn't happy with this as it must be connecting as staying with children. Noisy guests woke us all up multiple times coming back to the room late at night. Tv in one of our rooms were not working either. Unexpected additional cost of parking not advertised when booked. Breakfast wasn't great quality food for the price.

Room felt very neglected. We arrived to a dirty toilet in the ensuite. There was no toilet brush, so we had to use paper and water to clean it. We sould have complained but we arrived later than expected, and had a function to attend. Housekeeping in general was poor. The appearance of a rushed, that will do clean. We got the impression, staff felt put out if they were asked anything. Would not stay again.
