The host was responsive, courteous, and communicative. The property is in a reasonable location with fun food nearby. The shower seemed renovated, and we appreciated the selection of toiletries. The moon theme and scenes were fun additions.There was a microwave, but no microwave safe plates. The stove was unplugged, because it made a constant clicking noise when plugged in. There was no discernable smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector (maybe one buried under the cotton on the ceiling). The hair dryer did not work. The floors felt slippery and slimy. There were two allotted parking spots (first come, first serve). When we showed up there was one car which was taking up two spaces, one of them was specified for our use. The other spot had about 7-8 homeless people smoking substances under the structure taking up the parking spaces with their belongings. They refused to move so we parked down the street to avoid further agitation. they also berated us as we passed by. There were other aggressive homeless wandering the streets nearby, accosting other pedestrians. There was a new gate which provided separation which was a relief.The price was too high for what we got, compared to a hotel with security and guaranteed parking.
