We only stayed for one night but we were so impressed by their excellent customer service. Upon dropping off our bags before check-in time (3pm), we were advised to call them around 2 pm to see if our room is ready and it was. All inquiries were answered with smiles. Though there is not Lanai, but our room has a great view of ocean and plenty of space for two of us. We liked their small hotel vibe.

We loved our stay at Hotel Renew. Super accessible, a bunch of restaurants nearby, STUNNING views, the beach is only 2 minutes away and the people were super welcoming. The air conditioning in the room was great, you can adjust it to your liking. The location was super convenient.

Rooms need some updating. Funiture is beaten up, carpet is extremely old and worn. The AC units are under a built in bench and hardly work. They are also blocked by the bed in the double twin rooms. There shouldn’t be any amenity fees as there are none but it is what it is. Staff is very friendly. Sent someone to our room 3 times to fix the AC unit the best they could and provided a fan. Way over priced for the overall condition, room size and no amenities.

The room was good and great location. Cons: Minor issues with room: bathroom glass had blue tape for a missing window glass slot, the outdoor balcony furniture was pretty old and rusted so there were a couple of things that could be improved. There is a no smoking in the rooms which was fine but I guess someone on the floor was smoking near us. I did have a guest who smokes staying in the room but he was going outside to smoke and following the rules. So when I got a text on my phone telling me about the no smoking policy and the $500 charge if it doesn’t stop , I got concerned they were accusing my room . It was a bit concerning waking up to the text and knowing it was not my room doing that. Would’ve been nice if they could update the verbiage to indicate this was a mass notification to the floor or if it is targeted to me, to let me know. My partner went downstairs after the text and we were assured it was not us that they were referring to. The next day I got a note under my door so I ended up just ignoring it. They should speak to the room directly if they know who it is. Pros: everyone was so nice and helpful. They let us borrow a cooler, chairs, towels, pool noodle, workout equipment. We used it all during our stay and it was so great to be able to borrow this instead of buying it and having to throw it away at the end of the trip. The location was great, and so was the coffee shop downstairs. I would wake up early and get a cup of coffee to enjoy in my room every

Sweet staff, they greet you with pineapple juice and a cold towel to wipe your face. Hotel rooms are very well sized. “City view” isn’t very pretty but for the price and location, I’m ok with it!

I stayed at Hotel Renew over New Year’s and wanted to leave fair, constructive feedback. Check-in and check-out were handled professionally. Staff even brought Christmas cookies to the room, which was a thoughtful gesture, though I had just arrived from a long flight and was asleep when they knocked. The room was clean and everything worked properly. The property feels older but not dirty. Bedding and the shower were clean and comfortable, and I slept well. The AC is an older motel-style unit but was strong, easy to adjust, and kept the room comfortable. The TV setup was excellent and easy to connect devices. Power outlets were well placed, and the room was spacious. Internet speeds were around 40 Mbps and usable, but the connection would disconnect and require logging back in, including a survey and text message, which is inconvenient—especially late at night if you are downloading, it could cause issues. Privacy may be an issue for some guests. The windows use wooden sliding blinds rather than curtains, and even when closed they leave a gap, so the room never gets fully dark. The main drawback was daytime hallway noise from staff activity. Because the doors are thin, conversations right outside the room carried clearly inside. Being more mindful of noise in guest hallways would help. The desk chair was also uncomfortable for working. Overall, for the price—especially over New Year’s—it was a good value. I hope management found this helpful, I did enjoy my stay.

The level of service was phenomenal. The staff was amazing. The location is perfect and steps from the beach. The only improvements I would recommend is removing carpet on floors and a little more cleanliness details like walls because the hotel does have a lot of Japanese guest. The new cafe downstairs is also a great perk of staying at Hotel Renew. I recommend this place for a personalized boutique hotel experience.

I was very disappointed that, upon arriving, I was charged $35/day for ‘amenities’ consisting of a beach towel and chair- whether I wanted them or not! It would have cost me about $15 to purchase a towel and chair for the whole week! Very disappointing!!!
