The lake house waa a great place to stay! We stayed here on and off for almost 2 months. Valerie was easy to communicate with and very friendly. The house was very clean, had plenty of towels, bedding and blankets. Plenty of space outside for the dogs to run. Nice view of the lake fro. The porch too.

Great place to stay! It has plenty of space to spread out and the house has a lot of character while still having updated amenities. The only suggestion would be to have a baby gate available to block the stairs from little ones, but other than that, it was perfect!

Valerie is such a great host! She's very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The house is adorable, I loved the wrap around porch with seating where you can view the lake from. It's clean, comfortable,and smelled great. The house was well stocked with plenty of towels, blankets, and bedding. We really appreciated that we could bring the dogs! We will definitely be back!

It is a beautiful country home, but still close to a town that has amenities. We had a wonderful stay and the cows greeted us with smiles in the morning. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a quiet break from busy areas.

Location was perfect. True Kansas Prairie house with the modern conveniences, WiFi, TV and well done, updated bathrooms. My group didn't have any meals here but the stove/oven appeared good, and the fridge was cold. I hope I get a chance to stay here again. And Holton was more fun than I remembered!

Charming Stay

We needed a place to stay in the area and really enjoyed our stay in the farmhouse. It far enough away but close to everything you need. It was charming and reminded me of going back to my childhood and visiting family on the farm. The host was great to work with and very communicative. Great family stay!

This house met all expectations. We were in town for a family wedding and it was a great place for my sisters and my family to stay. The house was clean and the whole home was very comfortable. The host even let us know there would be fireworks we could view from the porch. My young kids enjoyed watching the cows out the window.

A Quiet Fourth

We live in a neighborhood plagued by excessive fireworks so we were looking for a quiet place to spend the days leading up to Independence Day. Lakeside house was perfect, it is clean, comfortable, and quiet. To say it is well stocked would be an understatement. Dishes, towels utensils, appliances, are all present in abundance. I really cannot recommend it strongly enough.
