Room and view was as pictured. Overall place was clean and as described. Included all the basics that you would need for a short stay. I picked this villa mainly for the view and I wanted something bigger than the average hotel room with a kitchen and separate sleeping space for my teenage son. It definitely seemed to be updated compared to the outdated building.Room does have a “musty” smell as stated by another reviewer. The entire building has this smell. I guess we got used to it or maybe because we had the patio door opened most of the time as we did not require air conditioning due to the cool weather. It is close to Sea Pines and walking distance to Coligny. We walked along the beach vs main roads to get to Coligny. There is also a bike rental across the street. You need bikes! I like that it was far enough from Coligny where you didn’t have big crowds or hear loud music. Host was very responsive and quick with answering questions. Place is very well lit at night as I felt safe walking around and there was parking close to room. I would recommend if you go knowing there will be a musty smell. Recommend for small family with young children under 10 because the pull out couch is very thin and uncomfortable. My son and I took turns on the comfortable bed. Washer and dryer is outside room 311 which is convenient. Pool was clean. Lounge chairs are outdated. Ocean Oak next door has the bigger pool if that’s what you’re looking for. Easy access to beach.
