The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. Appliances worked well, tv worked well. Kitchen was well stocked with what you would need to cook (pots and pans etc). We were extremely disappointed that the photos of the view did not show the run down property across the stream from us with the rusting cars and equipment. As you sit on the deck that is directly in your view. If you look down, you can view a babbling brook. That was the only saving grace. That rusting car and run down property absolutely was not in the photos displayed. The floors to the cabin are uneven and hard to walk on. (perhaps from flooding?) Also, the temp was in the 40's (so nice) at night and we had a note that the fireplace could not be used in April thru the summer months. We packed our on firewood and fire starter logs. Couldn't 't use it and it is not noted in the description of the property. Nor were we informed of this ahead of time. The heat does work well. Lastly, the bathrooms are well stocked but dark. Entire cabin is dark. The tubs and showers are plastic and small. Loved the location and town but extremely disappointed. The property description in not accurate. Lastly, the front door code does not work well. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Will not rent again. T and D Mason
