The room smiled like smoke and during check-in they charged my cc and extra $200 deposit to penalize me if I smoked in my room. I tried to call front desk twice after check-in to complain, but the front desk clerk was not available and probably outside smoking (that where she was when I arrived). Easy hotel scam to gain extra revenue since it will be hard for a guest to challenge penalty fee after I checked out. This scam should be investigated by Days Inn HDQ.

Our king bed was made in a very weird way. The sheets were only 1/2 way up the bed. We could not get in and cover ourselves without undoing the bed. At 1 am this sucked. Also the phone rang(a wakeupcall?) At 3 am waking us, and someone tried to clean our room at 8am. So a TOTAL wasted night with NO sleep whatsoever.

The hotel’s pictures are misleading. This dilapidated hotel does not meet minimum habitability standards. The hallways are dingy, the floor plan is very confusing, but after 5 minutes I realized that the room had multiple stains, some yellow, some dark colored. I pulled back the covers to check the mattress and found a brown smear under the mattress cover. The bed skirt had been unevenly pulled to one side of the bed revealing more dark stains, this time it’s at the center of a bigger stain. Besides the stains there is water damage on the ceiling tiles and ripped up parts of the rug. There is a weird musty odor throughout the hotel, in the rooms and at the front desk. I tried called Travelocity to see if I could switch hotels. They were unwilling, citing that I had already checked in and now I needed the hotel to waive their no refund policy as this was a non-refundable reservation. The hotel would not oblige. After multiple calls to change the reservation or get a refund from Travelocity I rebooked elsewhere with a different travel agency. Travelocity doesn’t advocate for their clients. When a problem arises, they offer no alternatives. I am now disputing the non-refundable charge with my Credit Card company. Lesson learned.

Didn’t have much heat- no extra blanket so had to sleep in sweat pants to stay warm; hair dryer fell off wall; toilet flap wouldn’t go down without opening tank; refrigerator motor way too loud.

Had to change rooms after I took a shower and the water would not drain from tub. The new room there wasn’t any way to stop the tub from draining to take a bath .The fan on the heating unit ran nonstop in the auto setting. To much noise. The need to get rid of little pillows. Way too small. Bye far the worst two nights I’ve ever stayed at a hotel.
