The lobby is great! So enjoyed the fireplace in superior comfort with a glass of wine on a snowy January evening. If the room and staff were as pleasant, EA hotel would be the permanent stop for passing through Western CT every time. Will try again before deciding.

We've stayed at this hotel many times to visit family in the area. It is just ok. And each time we visit, we notice it needs more updates. Although clean and comfortable, it is becoming quite dated and worn. The price is good, but it could use some updates.

We had issues with the heating system. Staff came out to review and did a diagnostic review and found nothing wrong. That did stop cold air from blowing in the room. We spoke with front desk and felt we should be compensated. Manager was supposed to contact us but they never did.

The room should have been cleaned better. There was a small empty liquor bottle on the floor behind the refrigerator and there was something dried on one of the throw pillows on the bed…it could have been food or snot. Also the room could use updating, the wall paper was separated in several areas and the carpet looked old.
