The overall look to the room seemed to be okay until we made our way around the room. We didn't enjoy finding trash behind our king size bed. I'm not sure how housekeeping could not notice the various empty bags of potato chips and crackers. Despite that we didn't make a fuss about it, we overlooked it since we weren't going to spend much time in the hotel anyway. Lets fast forward to the night where our neighbors had a violatile argument that led to screaming for hours.... I couldn't make a call via cellphone because my phone was dead, so I reached to call the front desk/Police from the room phone but it was inoperable. I disconnected it and reconnected it and still no dial tone. I felt my safety was compromised in that moment.. and needed to wait for the threat to leave before I could step outside and see if everything was okay. I didn't enjoy my stay here. Overall safety of guests are not taken into account. It really is just a bed for sleep, and thats if you don't mind the trash behind it..not worth the pay!! PLEASE DONT STAY HERE.

The breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent. Maid service was very good. If they could get the room keys to work for more than one day that would be an improvement.

Price was great, especially for a weekend. Downside to being a former B&B innkeeper means I pay attention to details. We stayed on 5th floor, and while it was generally clean, a closer inspection revealed that the exterior details of a room were ignored. Found crumbs, sawdust from run-down furniture aroudn the edges of the room. Linens were fresh and seemed even new....no complaints there. Breakfast adequate, although a crowded setup for getting to it. Overall ok, just not fantastic.

Good value, clean and convenient

Pros: Helpful staff and excellent free breakfast.
Cons: They had a Drum Corps competition going on in the ballroom during our stay, with lots of kids practicing in the parking lots. It was still okay!
Location: Not much we found to do in Meridan.
This was a great value, reasonably quiet and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. Shower was hot and with good water pressure. Not a lot of restaurants in Meriden but the grinder shop next door was great, not to mention Dunkin Donuts across the street.

Would stay here again.

Pros: Very clean, comfortable, quiet and an excellent value for the price.
Cons: Nothing.
I was on business travel and chose this hotel for the good price and convenient location. The room was very clean and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
