It's very peaceful and quiet there with a very cozy feeling. I've been 3 times so far and plan to go back again soon. I highly recommend staying here.

Peaceful quiet cabin. Very good amenities and appliances. The cabin was very clean. We really enjoyed eating on the porch watching the sunset.there was also lots of visits from wildlife.

We love it here. The host is very responsive. The cabin has a very laid back cozy vibe. It has a fire pit meant for smores. An outside bathroom as well as an outside building with a couch, tv, table to eat at and so much more. We'll Def be back!

Great view, nice house!

The house has nice amenities, communication was great and a beautiful view from all parts of the house! Nice space for my family of 4. Kitchen has what you need to cook!

It is a beautiful property with everything you need to feel like you're at a cabin in the mountains. It has beautiful views of the canal. It even has a fully functioning outside bathroom. It was so peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed our time there and we definitely be staying there again! Don't forget to bring smores to have on the open fire.

The total seclusion and noiseless retreat were just what was needed, and “the Owl” delivered exactly that! Fully furnished with a water view and beautiful hardwood used throughout the interior made this like a movie set. Bed was just right, and the upstairs offered a sweeping view. So well kept a way too many amenities to list. Four minute walk to the beach and huge park. This place is simply a nice slice of Heaven!!

Gorgeous slice of Paradise:Hansville Hawks Hole!

The seclusion and hidden feeling is a real treat here….yet only a 5 minute walk to the water and secret waterfront park and field. Ice maker and air fryer are just a couple of the long list of amenities. The use of natural wood for the interior trim was much appreciated, and the upstairs bed with the water view was a dream come true. Will definitely return to this heaven on earth again soon!!

Beautiful and peaceful location

Had a great time. The property was nice and as advertised Hate this review system though. We had no communication with the property manager but are required to answer all questions regardless of applicability.

Perfect family vacation

Super clean cabin with a lot of thoughtful touches. There is a full bed with twin on top bunk in the lower bedroom and a full bath on the lower level. There is a master suite with queen and full bath upstairs. There is a Keurig (with pods, cream in the fridge, sugar and sweetener to get you started) washer, dryer, dishwasher, iron, toaster, pots, pans, and a kitchen full of everything you might need. Our kids loved exploring the property and we had a bonus nest of baby robin hatch while staying! We cannot say enough good things about this property and hope to be back often.

Peaceful, beautiful place to unwind

Beautiful view of Hood Canal and the Olympics, gorgeous property, amazing house. The house is unique, cozy, and inviting; very comfortable stocked with fun things for everyone, so nice to cozy up inside or relax on the big porch. The property is quiet and secluded with lots to explore and enjoy. The separate kitchen "shed" and fire pit area are a great cookout and relax area and are like a whole other experience with a lot of conveniences. And there's a very nice outside bathroom near the fire pit area. Some of the family have mobility issues and had no problem here with the walkways making it easy. This was a wonderful weekend we spent here and we will be definitely be back. Highly recommend for all families.

The buildings on the property are attractive and the beds were very comfortable. Indeed, the listing describes the property well, but, IMO, this rental is better suited to a family with children than to several adults as the open plan causes almost any noise to be heard throughout the house and the bunk beds in the lower bedroom makes it easy for adults to hit their head. There are also a lot of toys and games provided. We rented this particular property not so much based on the listing description but because it was very convenient to the wedding we were attending. if you are a couple with children and the listing appeals to you, you should go for it.

Tranquil Cabin Stay

I cannot emphasize enough how perfect our stay was at Hawk’s Hole! We honestly didn’t want to leave. The location is so tranquil, amidst the pines and overlooking the canal. Access was easy, and everything we needed was provided. (And more!) It’s clear the owners put a lot of attention to detail, as the decor, amenities, and supplies were all top-notch. It honestly felt like a home away from home. The cabin is well-kept, with everything being extremely comfortable and inviting. We especially loved the firepit and deck! We spent mornings watching the sunrise over the canal, and evenings roasting marshmallows down below. The pond is so serene, too! Very picturesque. I was telling my family that I honestly believe Hawk’s Hole was my absolute favorite stay that I have ever had, and that says a lot because I have traveled far and wide! We hope to one day return, because we made very special memories there.
