Staffs were nice and helpful. The room hot shower only lasts two minutes so you must take a quick shower. Shower heads are outdated so it doesn't works well. You need to wait like 10 minutes for the hot water to heat up again before you get another round of two minutes of hot shower. I left my key card in my room entire day and I still only get little bit of hot water before it turns into a cold shower which I have taken mainly cold shower the four nights that I been here. At least the fridge is full of soda and beer and water for a fee and that stays cold all day with/without key card. TV has two channels that play mainly English speaking old movies, it better than nothing. Pickup your own coffee because the 3 in one pack the hotel has its mainly cream. The outlet is loose in the room I had, especially the bathroom. For one or two nights it is ok to stay here. The location is in the old quarter so busy area. The cleaning ladies never changed my sheets after three nights I slept and I requested to clean my room once thinking she would at least change my dirty sheets from sweating and sitting and sleeping for three days. My forth day I left so she can clean my room with the other lady who doesn't speak any English. My sheet still has stain on it when I return and my bed was left as I left it. She tightened the flat sheet and puts pillows where they would normally be before guests arrived. Thin walls and you can hear cleaning ladies cleaning and other guests.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Eclipse Legend Hotel. Our room was clean, quiet, and perfectly situated within walking distance to attractions in the French Quarter and Old Quarter. The pictures of the room online are better than in-person, in all honesty. The room was small and the feel of the hotel seems just barely being maintained. Our toilet was leaking which the staff tried to fix, twice , however was unsuccessful due to us not being in the room long enough for them to work on it.. which I was appreciative that they did not go in the room while we were gone. The location of the hotel was great, not in a busy street, however walking distance of approximately 10 minutes to the market. Restaurants are abundance and everywhere. Easy to get transportation.. friendly staff. Honestly, my only complaint was that the hotel could have been more of the ‘nicer side’ especially since they cater mainly to foreigners. There is so much competition for hotels, I would honestly book somewhere else for the same price range.

Hotel was in a great location. Quiet at night and still close enough to walk anywhere. Stayed in 2 different rooms and both were good. Staff was friendly and theres a great pho place almost across the street. Ate there every morning.

I stayed at the Eclipse Legend Hotel for 4 nights in late September. I cant say enough about the staff, who were all so nice and helpful every time I interacted with them. They were eager to answer questions, give suggestions, or just chat. The location is great being a very short walk to the Old Quarter, but just the right distance to where it is nice and quiet at night. There are some great coffee shops and restaurants very close. I would absolutely stay there again if I return to Hanoi.
