We were a bit hesitant to book this resort based on some of the previous Expedia and Google Reviews I read, but we are so glad that we did! The property is absolutely beautiful and well kept — the walkway to the tent houses is so well maintained and so fun at night. We stayed in the cabin suite with an ocean view and it was perfect and very cozy for a chilly and rainy Feb weekend. Great for couples looking for a getaway. The bathroom was wonderful and nicely renovated with a rain shower. We also loved the inclusion of a fireplace. I didn't find any issues with the cleanliness of the place - bedding was fresh and we did not have any issues. My only comment is that the parking was a bit of a disaster. My partner and I decided to get dinner in Sechelt in the evening and someone came and took the parking spot in front of our cabin (we were directed to take the spot directly in front of our cabin by the staff) so we had to park our car elsewhere overnight, which was an inconvenience. Also, it seems like early check-in is discouraged, so make sure you arrive at 4pm or later. Overall, lovely stay and we'll be back.

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was our first time at Rockwater Secret Cove Resort. The ocean view was absolutely breathtaking, with fresh air and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Being in a canvas tent, it does get quite cold at night and you can feel the ocean breeze, even with the fireplace and heaters on. Still, it made for a unique and memorable experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again—this time in the summertime.

The room was nice but mold around the windows. The jacuzzi didn’t work the way it was supposed to and there was barely hot water. If i stay again, I think I’d try the tent as most good reviews are in regards to the tents.

The food was excellent, the staff were very nice. Our room was in the main lodge and was water damaged, it was pretty booked so no exchanges could be done. Bathtub didn't work and the ceiling had black mold stains. I would go back as long as I could book in a different part of the resort.

Unit concept to try: tent cabins facing the ocean! With a beautiful wooden path to get to your tent cabin deep inside the forest, away from noises and cars. Staff are very nice and super friendly (especially Sager who was a great help).

Beautiful grounds, my tent was lovely with views of the ocean, visiting in winter, it was still warm and gorgeous. staff were friendly and helpful, had a nice massage at the spa. Highly recommended as a solo traveler or for group get away. Complimentary smores were a nice touch.
