The Swamp Rabbit Inn is a hidden gem in downtown Greenville. The location is perfect...right by the Reedy River Park. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. My favorite thing about this place is the access to bikes and the swamp rabbit trail, which is right around the corner. The only thing my hubby was disappointed about was the TV, which was really hard to figure out, even with instructions.

We really enjoyed our stay overall, especially because the location was fantastic — super walkable to downtown and easily the biggest highlight. The room itself was clean and had all the basics we needed, nothing fancy but perfectly comfortable for a short stay. The only downside was the temperature difference between floors. We stayed upstairs and, even though it was in the 70s outside, our room felt noticeably warmer than the downstairs areas, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. Breakfast was very simple — mostly cereals, muffins, and similar items — so if you’re expecting something more substantial, that’s something to keep in mind. That said, the property would be great for groups since it has a shared kitchen and common sitting area, which seemed like a nice setup for socializing. Overall, the location really made the stay worthwhile

This inn is located off of Main Street in West Greenville and a nice 30-minute walk to the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, so location was great. That said, this property was not for us. It is an older home and we were on the first floor. Lots of creaking floors above us and rumbling pipes. Some guests didn’t seem to observe that quiet hours. The kitchen common area was nice. However, since guests were invited to put items in the one refrigerator, we were somewhat confused about what was available for common use. I hope we didn’t drink anyone else’s water. To be fair, we met a couple there who stay there every year for the SEC women’s basketball tournament and they love it. As stated earlier, it was just not a property we will stay at again.
