We spent New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day at this house on Paris Mountain in Greenville, and it was truly one of the best New Year’s weekends we’ve had in a long time. Our group spanned multiple generations, and this home worked *perfectly* for that. The bedrooms are spread out over three floors, which meant everyone could keep their own schedule and still sleep comfortably. Every bed was incredibly cozy, by the way. We spent our time exactly the way you hope to on a getaway: cooking dinners together in the spacious kitchen (plenty of room for multiple cooks and a few “helpers”), gathering around the large dining table for meals, and then transitioning seamlessly into card games like Rummy and Phase 10. The arcade games and ping-pong table were in constant use, and the hot tub was absolute perfection after long days exploring Greenville. We celebrated my nephew’s 12th birthday, watched movies, laughed a lot, and made memories that we’ll talk about for years. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Soby’s downtown and escaped (just in time!) from Breakout Escape Rooms, then came back to a house that truly felt like a retreat. Communication with the host was excellent, super prompt, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. Everyone in our group commented that this was one of the best trips we’ve taken in a long time, and this house was a huge reason why. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.
