When we checked in, we could not get the door to open. I asked the desk attendant for help, and she just called for a maintenance man. The hotel manager was present, and I asked if she could help; the answer was "NO". However the Manager came to our room, and she could not open the door. She and I noticed that the door was bent and would open only if pulled tightly shut. We were never given the option of another room. Our room was not serviced during our entire stay. When I asked why, the desk attendant said because of COVID the staff would only clean when requested. If we had known there was a COVID issue at the hotel, we would never have booked at the hotel. Why was Expedia not informed of this issue? We will never stay at this hotel again.
