What a dreamy home and location! Every detail was thoughtfully planned, from the AMAZINGLY equipped kitchen to games for every age in case of a rainy day - and life jackets in every size to enjoy the waterfront. The host was quick to respond when needed and the area in general is beautiful and serene. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home and grounds! Being on Duck Lake was perfect for swimming and kayaking. We were able to dock a pontoon at the dock, and enjoyed the firepit. The deck was perfect for morning and evening meals, and the kitchen was well stocked. Our kids enjoyed the various yard games. The location was very convenient to coffee, a grocery, and a farmer's market in Interlochen, and a short drive to Traverse City with great restaurants. Highly recommend this home!

Fall beauty on the lake

This house is beautiful, with a huge yard! We went up for a girls weekend. Plenty of space to cook, hang out together. Lots of games at the house. A short drive to Traverse city, and the winery. Would love to stay again in the summer to get more use out of the lake.

Duck Lake

This property has it all. We enjoyed a private lake beach and pier, kayaking, ping pong, board games, driveway pickleball and a kitchen with a perfect view of the lake. Sip your morning coffee from the upper deck high top table. While eating your homemade dinner prepared in the well-appointed kitchen, you can view the lake from the spacious dining room table. This home is so comfortable you won't want to leave.

Family vacation

Our family of 8 (6 adults/2 small children) stayed at the Serene Lakehouse for our summer vacation. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, super clean, well appointed, and the large lawn was perfect for family games. The grandchildren enjoyed playing on the beach and all of us enjoyed being able to use the dock for various boating/paddleboard options. The kayaks provided were appreciated. The downstairs tv/game room is an additional plus. We were so busy we did not use the pickleball, spike ball and other games, but it was nice to know they were there in case we had several days of rain. The host was wonderful about reaching out before, during and after our trip. Their communication was excellent. We enjoyed the beauty of Duck Lake and all the area had to offer. Beautiful home and property

This home was exactly as described. Beautifully decorated and the cleanliness was impeccable. The kitchen was stocked perfectly, nothing more than needed. Plenty of lawn area for the kids to play and was so nice that there was a beach area. We caught fish off the dock which all enjoyed. The pickleball court was great - we were 1st time pickleball players, it was a huge hit! There was plenty of space indoors and outdoors for all 10 of us to enjoy.

My family (age range 18-80) stayed at this beautiful property for a week in July. The home was so comfortable and decorated super cute. Plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained. The owners were super responsive to questions we had. If I had to find a negative (which is difficult) it would be there was not a true master suite. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. No en suite and no half bath. It really didn't affect our stay, just how we changed who slept where. Beautiful home. Close to everything.
