Great stay!
We had a fabulous time staying at Bell Creek Lake Villa. The house is beautiful and very large. My family of 12 had plenty of room with extra beds we didn't need. 4 large bedrooms, all with their own bathroom, plus one more full bath downstairs. Plenty of hot water, too. Nice size kitchen and dining area. The backyard was really nice, with plenty of space for the children to run and play. Too cool for the swimming pool, but several took advantage of the hot tub. We didn't use the outside grills, but there were several. The host was excellent, he checked on us regularly and was quick to respond to any questions we had. I strongly recommend this vacation home to anyone who wants a little get-away without the hassle. Thank you, Brian, for a great stay!

Do not recommend for family
Advertised as premier hosts. Absolutely is not. Arrived after very long drive to find no toilet paper in the bathrooms, no water or anything to drink, no hand soap in bathrooms and the closest store 15 min away. We stayed a week. The house was very dusty. The dishes were dirty. Cockroaches in the kitchen. No dish towels and one dishcloth so clean up is difficult. Broken glass and cigarette butts in patio by pool. The grills are filthy and broken. If you are looking for a fraternity style house to party then this would be the place for you. If you are a family on vacation, stay away from this one!!! The house is in need of many repairs. The lights are burnt out in the master bath, the shower drain in broken and cracked. The kitchen countertops are cracked in several places. The main floor bathroom sink will not drain. The hot tub only heats if you shut off all breakers, wait 10 min, turn back on then follow procedure in video. The lock on the front door is broken. The list is long. As for the location, you are far away from anything. Very few places to eat, grocery stores are a min on 15 min one way and cooking at the house is difficult since the kitchen is lacking. We have stayed in other premier vrbo homes and they were very nice. This one in no way compares. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Peaceful neighborhood.
The pool and hot tub were beautiful and enjoyed by our family. We were a group of 15 adults, the bunk beds were a challange for a couple people in our group. It was a bit of a drive to the activities we did. The grounds are beautiful we wish it would have been cooler so we could have used them more. Brian answered our questions in a timely manner.

Overall, nice stay
I’ll start by saying we had a great time and the one time I contacted Brian, he responded in a timely manner. The property itself and landscape are very nice and the house has huge potential. The neighborhood is nice, small and quiet. The hills made for a great jog. As some reviews noted, the pool lining is not in the best shape, but that did not keep us from having a great time using it. The diving board, however, was missing. Now for the not so good… the back area could use a bit of a touch up. The grill was filthy and we quickly changed our minds about grilling. The kitchen wasn’t much more welcoming for cooking. The pots and pans were terrible. The silverware was pretty sparse. We opted for plastic ware. The listing is also a bit confusing with the number of bedrooms. I counted 4 and only one has a king size bed. One set of bunks is in a room right off the master which I guess can be called bedroom 5. Another set of bunk beds is in an opening in the hallway. Another set is in the game room which is very warm. It cools some late at night well after the sun goes down but not very comfortable the rest of the day. The pool table was a nice touch had someone not ripped the felt on top. It’s a nice house and with upgrades including fully working blinds, a new window above the kitchen sink, toilets that aren’t so low to the floor and holes puttied from previous tissue holders, it could be a beautiful house. The inside doesn’t quite match what you see when you pull up outside.

family reunion
We had a great time, very hot the end of June. There seem to be deferred maintenance in several rooms and outside back. The kitchen which was used daily lacked decent pots and pans for cooking family meals. Needs some organization. The pool was great, and well used. The lake (which was more of a pond) was used only for fishing. No one wanted to swim in it. Brian was helpful.

Family Vacation
9 adults and 4 children. We had a great trip. Enough room for all of us, with plenty room for the children to play. We enjoyed the beautiful pool, relaxed in the hot tub, fished and canoed on the beautiful lake, even caught and released some fish, played football and kickball on the spacious grounds and cooked delicious meals on the outdoor grill and well equipped kitchen. The whole family enjoyed walking through the beautiful Bellingrath Gardens located just a few miles away. We were also able to take some beautiful family pictures there. Another day, we spent some time enjoying Dauphin Island, which is also just a few miles away. This house was in a great location with many attractions for new adventures for all.

Beautiful view and plenty of rooms
We stayed here for a family celebration for my moms birthday. 4 families for a total of 12 people and there was plenty of room. The backyard is amazing with a pool, lots of land and pond with fishing dock. We enjoyed the views. The kitchen is a little outdated but lots of seating. Brian is extremely responsive and was a wonderful host. It was a nice relaxing break for our family to get together.

White Coat Ceremony Celebration
I booked this property for my family to celebrate my daughter’s White Coat Ceremony. We all had so much fun from the great-grandparents to the 6 month old. We all enjoyed sitting on the back pool area and watching the men fish. The little ones used the hot tub to swim and splash around in. In the evenings, we built a fire in the pit on the pool deck and roasted marshmallows or played pool in the pool room. The property is perfect for a family gathering except if you two sets of elderly couples, there is only one bedroom downstairs that can accommodate. One has to go up the stairs, and for my situation, that was a difficult feat because of bad knees and back issues. But we persevered and did enjoy our stay thoroughly. Brian was a superb host and communicated very well with me. Will consider staying again for graduation but will bring a blow up mattress to use downstairs.
