"The property overlooks the river and mountains which we enjoyed. It was close to restaurants and shopping. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We felt really taken care of. There was a wood burning fireplace in the lobby which we enjoyed as the evenings were cool and the sofas were very comfortable. Spencer is the new owner and has great pride in taking care of his guests. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the room was quiet. There is free parking as well. We stayed 2 nights and would return if we found ourselves in Golden again. Thank you for a great stay."
