For an older motel it is very solid building. The rooms are updated, not fancy, but they are certainly not run down for the age. Good bed. Everything was clean and working order. Worth the $100/night savings for the drive from the Hwy Hotels to downtown Golden.

We liked that it’s ground level and that its right across the street from the hospital. One thing we were concerned about was the fabric drapes touches the electric heater that got very hot and we were concerned about a fire.

A little disappointed

All was very good except if you are a hockey or football enthusiast! No televised Games! They tried to give us an adapter but to no avail. We were disappointed that we had travelled for eight hours and looking forward to dinner and watch the hockey game. But that didn’t happen.
