Room was clean and beds were comfortable but our room was on the second floor, and there was no elevator. Coffee in morning was instant and set up where there were no lights and the door from outside wasn’t locked.

Older hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. Some upgrades were done. Bed was great and we enjoyed the hot tub! Pricy for what you get, but that's Golden for ya.

A very basic motel with basic charm and minimal amenities (fridge & microwave in room). Receptionist didn't even tell us that there was a hot tub and sauna - only saw it when I walked in through another entrance to drop off my keys the next day. OK for our one-night stay during a road trip across Canada but wouldn't want to actually use it as a base for exploring the area. Price may be in line with the competition in Golden but >$250 for one night here (plus pet fee) is pretty steep.

A bit from downtown and if you decide to walk at night in the summer, you’ll be feeding hordes of mosquitos. Unless you have a big spear which we didn’t have. We were a bigger group that arrived at the same time, so there was a little chaos when sorting out the rooms as some were not ready even though we got there at 4. But it was all sorted. The room was nice actually, better than the average motel.

Nice that we were able to request a downstairs room as we had a lot of expensive fishing equipment to bring in. The room was hot but had to stand on a chair to turn on a noisy air conditioner that turned off and on all night long. People above us sounded like elephants waking across the floor and the were up around 5:30 am walking the floors, sometimes running. Instant coffee or tea in the lobby. No ice machine. Way too expensive for the accommodations. Room was clean.

upon check in the front desk staff accused me of using the incorrect 3 digits on credit card (despite the fact that expedia cleared it). the hotel amenities are basic, the room is 1980s style and has not seen updates. the bedding was uncomfortable with goose feathers poking through the mattresses. there was no hot water to shower with. the neighboring rooms transfer much noise.

Sleep in your car. Do not stay here. Dirt ring in bath tube, holes in bathhroom door covered with a piece of scrap wood. Dirty floors, blood on the pillow cases. Thisnplace should be shut down.
