Only steps away from Lake Murray, The Fish Tale Cottage brings you relaxation and comfort! Enjoy the peaceful cove waters with kayaks (3 provided), swimming, paddle boarding, jet ski & boat rentals (all available at South Shore Marina 0.5 mi away!

Enter through the first floor with keyless entry. Both bedrooms and the full bathroom are on the first floor. Take the staircase to the second floor to find a cozy living & dining space, half bath, fully equipped kitchen with single serve Keurig, & a wrap around porch to sit and enjoy coffee, food, or good conversation with a partial lake view!

Queen Bed in front bedroom. 2 sets of twin bunk beds in the back bedroom. Pack & Play available upon request.

WiFi available. Smart TV in living space with access to Netflix, Hulu, & other streaming networks provided you have your own personal account/login. Cable & DVD player provided otherwise. Home Hub equipped.

Located only 15 minutes from the town of Lexington! Gilbert is a small town tucked just west of Lexington. 378 Bar & Grill is just across the way from the neighborhood. Head into Lexington for most grocery stores, restaurants & shopping. 20 minutes from HWY I-20. 20 mi from CAE airport. Public Boat Ramp 7 mi.

The Fish Tale Cottage backs up to a wooded area. It is normal to see some wildlife, spiders, beetles, frogs, etc in outdoor spaces.

-The pool, boat ramp, & boat yard are off limits to short term renters (<30 days)

Great cottage
Great cottage. Clean, organized and the owners communicate well. It was a nice quiet neighborhood with access to the lake. Cabin had everything I needed for a longer than normal stay. I would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely perfect!
This cabin was amazing from start to finish. The communication was top notch and we never had to question a thing. I was in awe of the cleanliness and decor. I need them to come decorate my own home. Haha. The space was perfect and so welcoming. We spent the day in the cove at the lake and it was very quiet and inviting. We ran into a few neighbors who were very friendly. My husband and I are already planning a trip back by ourselves. Couldn’t have asked for anything else. Don’t worry about over packing because they have what you need.
