The stay at The Blue Mansion Qing Suites is definitely the highlight of my Penang trip. The hotel is stunning and modern and you can just cross the street to visit the original Blue Mansion, whose rooms are too classic for my taste. Highly recommended!!!

The first thing you have to know: the staff is EXCEPTIONAL. From the manager, Miss Anna Yoon, to the servers and bartenders, to the security, the staff is arguably the kindest and most capable I have ever come across. They work so hard and make it look effortless (itā€™s NOT!) and they make you feel like family. The second thing: the property is beautiful. This was perhaps the nicest hotel room Iā€™ve ever stayed in. The suites are stunning and comfortable and have everything you need. From big details, like a gorgeous tub, to small details, like including a yoga mat and pool bag for you, they have thought of everything. I would move into that suite if I could. A word of warning, the mattress is VERY firm, which caused me back pain, but my partner was fine with it. Just be aware if you have spinal pain like me. The bedding was beyond comfortable, though. The spa was wonderful! Amazing and capable staff. They were able to pivot in their appointments to accommodate my pain and were really kind about it, especially given my embarrassment. Highly recommend getting as many treatments as possible! Finally, the food. We loved the free breakfast. The fruits were delicious, the baked goods were lovely. But the duck soup. That will live rent free in my mind. I LOVE the duck soup. We are so grateful for our stay. Cannot wait to return.
