Super friendly staff, but just be aware there is a Chinese restaurant with karaoke next door that goes until midnight; don't stay here if you are an early sleeper who can't take some noise.

A beautiful stay in Penang in a historic building. I've never stayed in a place that people come to tour before! Room was nice and breakfast good. There is noise from the neighborhood, but everywhere in this area will have some noise. Walking distance to bars and restaurants.

Beautifully renovated to its former glory, this heritage hotel is stunning. Downstairs rooms open out to a courtyard with plenty of seating. The rooms are spacious, updated, and clean. Do try the croque monsieur paratha at breakfast.

This blue mansion is absolutely stunning with rich history and our townhouse is just as beautiful. Breakfast is good. Not much options but good enough. Service is very good. We had complimentary car services from our townhouse to the blue mansion.

Breakfast selection was okay... always difficult to get a good western style breakfast in Malaysia. But good omelets were available. Coffee was good too. We had a fabulous tasting menu with wine pairing at their restaurant one evening.

During my stay I needed medical assistance. The staff were quick and responsive to my needs and I felt I could not have been in better hands, Thanks to Vincent, especially. I was provided with immediate care at a nearby medical clinic, all within the hospitality of the hotel. Now THAT was unexpected and I'm very grateful. The sign of a great hotel. The level of care was first rate and I'm now fully recovered.

The most unique hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The house is beautifully presented with a balance between traditional furnishings and modern amenities. The only drawback was that there was no A/C in the house other than the bedroom, so it could get quite hot. However, the A/C in the bedroom worked very well so there was no problem falling asleep. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Penang.

The hotel and staff are fantastic and the vegetarian 5 course meal we had on our anniversary in the restaurant was one of the best meals I've ever had. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for making our anniversary such a wonderful memory.
