We booked the townhouse for five days. The townhouse was beautifully decorated, with every appliance, major inconvenience, etc. available. But… Nowhere in the townhouse ad did they mention it was on a septic tank. We noticed the second day/1st morning… There was a huge puddle of water in the yard below the deck. Turns out it was the septic tank, and it was overflowing. Smelled terrible!. We called guest services every day, sometimes twice a day. Until finally on day three we were told they did not have anything to do with maintenance or septic. They would contact property management. And we never heard another word. None of the TVs would connect with the passwords provided, etc. Service man came out on day two & connected 2 tvs. The master bedroom tv was never connected… even though it’s called daily, service man, never returned. Septic tank was not emptied during our entire stay… We were hesitant/fearful to use the toilets, laundry, dishwasher, showers, etc. normal conveniences and live. For fear that it would back up into the townhouse. The smell was awful! The day before we left the lawn service people showed up and they’re riding mower was Making ruts in the sewage saturated grass. Finally that evening day four of our five the septic company showed up and emptied it.
