Looking for a place to base your adventures in downtown Fuji? Fuji offers 5 accommodation options within a 6-mile (10-kilometer) radius of the center of town.
Some of the Travelocity-listed rooms located just a short drive from the heart of downtown Fuji are the Hotel Nishi In Fujisan and Kuretake Inn Fujisan.
The Arai Ryokan can be found 20 miles (33 kilometers) from the town center of Fuji. Another hotel is the Mars Garden Wood Gotemba, which can be found about 16 miles (25 kilometers) away. Two more places to stay here include the Hotel Mifuji along with the Numazu Riverside Hotel.
When you've got the time, adventurous travelers could discover more of the sights of the Chubu region. Get ready to discover the sights of Chubu's beaches, mountains, active volcanos and rolling hills. In addition, you should explore a few of the region's ruins. In this area of Japan travelers may enjoy snowboarding.
Spend some time visiting Senbonhama Park and Awashima Marine Park, in Numazu, 11 miles (18 kilometers) southeast of Fuji.
