Overall our stay was ok. When we arrived the first night a roach crawled out from under the kitchen trash can and ran under the door into the outside hallway. I was able to get a picture of it. According to Google lens it was a German cockroach. I immediately emailed the host with the picture attached and we went to a hotel that night. The next day the host responded that basically there were bugs at the beach. When I responded with the fact that I was aware and ok with that but not ok with that specific bug, cockroach, I wasn't even given a response. We decided to stay bc let's face it, we didn't want to pay for a whole new place and be out the money. I will say that we did not see anymore during our stay. With all that said, the condo is just not clean. It's a nice condo and could be great to stay in but the cleaning crew just isn't doing their job. Walls, baseboards, cabinets...just dusty and grimey. You could also tell that the tub and shower had not been cleaned. This and the fact that the host didn't bother to respond to my second email is the reason for the 3 stars. The pool area in the resort on the other hand is awesome. My kids loved it! Perfect combination of attractions for my toddler, 5 year old and us adults. We had a good vacation but unfortunately will be finding a different place to stay next time.
