Having to be honest having read some of the reviews prior to our stay I was nervous. They were put to rest with our very first employee we met. Amber at the front desk went above and beyond to take care of mix up with our bed situation in our room before we made it there. Our room was very nice and comfortable and suited our needs very well. The bathroom was a little small but it was just the two of us and worked well. The staff on the way to the room were very accommodating and helpful and everyone smiled at the new guests arriving. The amenities at the hotel are many and the grounds are kept well. The beach bar was very nice and convenient. We can say we actually made friends there with some of the staff. Velda and Cody at the beach bar were so helpful and nice and when they had the chance we had great conversation. Becca was very nice as well but we didn’t get to spend much time with her. The bar tender in the Grotto bar was pleasing as well but did not catch her name. Over all we had a great time and would go back. People need to keep in mind that when they are on vacation that doesn’t mean you can be on vacation from being polite and patient. Treat your bartenders and hotel staff with respect and be patient because it’s a lot to deal with so many people and kids. Plus it’s a older building that’s subjected to salt spray and thousands of people everyday. Things breakdown and paint chips but they are making improvements. This is honest and unsolicited.

After check-in, went to room that was open(not locked), balcony door was not locked either. To get into the building(to the rooms) you supposedly needed to swipe your room key to open the door. Wrong! You could open the door anytime you wanted. Anyone could get in. Parking was horrible. Not enough spaces. A parking slip was needed on your dash but that didn’t matter, no one checked. Because the hotel was on the beach anyone could drive in, park and go to the beach or the hotel’s pools. At check-in they gave you a blue wrist band to show that you could be there. The problem was no one checked. I saw many(20-30) people without bands because I looked. A lot of people there. This was true for a number of people going to the beach. There was no security that I saw. The hotel was going through some renovations but there should have been some kind of security. Because of renovations there was limited food facility. Tents with outdoor seating. Food was mediocre at best. 2nd day there we had water leak in our room. Took 30mins for maintenance to respond. Carpets on first floor going to elevators were dirty.

Location - Beachfront property, excellent! Everything else disappointment! I have a hospitality background so I believe when I go somewhere I expect the best, especially when spending close to $300 on a room stay. Upon arrival front desk was friendly and welcoming, not very informative though. We went to our room which had no elevators, with 3 kids, plenty of stuff to bring up and knee issues, not what I expected. Entering the room you have a 1980s feel hotel from the east coast or old Kissimmee feel. You walk in and it smells like old musty odors, carpets were dirty, fridge wasn't properly working. We went to the bathroom/sink areas, it was not cleaned, the soap dish in bathroom tub was filthy with layer of dirt, the sink faucet had built up soap scum all over it, tub mat when unraveled had a towel with it and a chunk of someone's hair. Toilet seat was gross with stains as well. Later in the evening maintenance came up and helped with the fridge and fixed a broken towel bar, he was very friendly! We went down to the beach, enjoyed ocean side for about an hour before an employee approached us to leave as a wedding was going to be taken place and no one is supposed to be in that area. We were told to move further down away from where our hotel beach location was. Once again, with three kids and a bunch of stuff had to move..We later went to the Jacuzzi and it was full and dirty. So disappointed with this stay..Really expected better from a Ramada hotel.

Staff was courteous. Hotel lobby under renovation makes inconvenient. Room needs paint and remodeling, bathroom door dirty and separating. Overall just not worth what was charged. I stayed here because I expected a better hotel from Ramada. Won't be back.

Great beach stay

This is a great place to stay. Staff always friendly and accommodating. Even with renovations and refreshing going on was a wonderful stay. We will be back.

Under Cunstruction

When booking this room we were not informed they where under construction. When we arrived we were told they pool and other amenities were under construction. Room was ok but carpets were dirty along with towels were worn and stained.

Nice Stay - Super Convenient

You never have to leave this hotel. They have everything for everyone. We had a great stay, and the staff were super sweet and amazingly accommodating! We will return!
