Wonderful Cabin

The hubby and I stayed here for our anniversary and we had an amazing time! Very peaceful and relaxing! The cabin was clean and very welcoming! Has everything you need to enjoy your stay!

Our stay here was amazing! I have no complaints. They left homemade muffins for us. They made sure we new directions and was available if needed. It is decorated so cute and love the added touches on the walls and that they share recipes. Cute idea! Host even contacted after and offered up her prayers for my ill family member! Will definitely try to stay again!

perfect hide away

If you want to get away from urban life without being completely disconnected, this is the place. The setting is idyllic, the hosts are friendly without being intrusive. It is nearly perfect for just getting away while still having a good internet connection. We loved it so much we are looking at properties in the area.

Cozy, creekside cabin retreat

My family and I had a great time at the Big Rock Cabin. The owners were very kind and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We celebrated my daughter's 9th birthday and they all had a blast interacting with the goats and catching crawdads in the nearby creek spillway. I look forward to going back.

Perfect hideaway

If you want to get away from everything, experience nature, while still having a connection to the rest of the world, this is the place. The cabin was perfect. The setting was just what we needed, a step away from a more urban existence while having good internet so we could keep up with school and other responsibilities. We plan to go back. Loved it so much we are looking at properties in the area.

Cozy Cabin Getaway

Our family of four spent Easter weekend at this cozy cabin looking to get away from the busy, everyday life. The cabin itself was perfectly equipped with all the essentials, and so much more. The location is ideal next to the creek, which we all enjoyed in the early spring weather. The owners are wonderful and beyond helpful. We will definitely come back to this cabin, and we undoubtably recommend this destination for anyone looking for a quiet, off the grid, and beautiful location.

A little piece of solace

We absolutely loved it here! We wanted peacefulness and to be able to stargaze and we got it all!. It was a wonderful first trip together! We were able to see the milky way. The cabin was romantic and clean. We loved walking the creek. The homeowners left us snacks , water,and homegrown tomatoes. Thank u!

Perfect cozy cabin hideaway

We celebrated my daughter's 9th birthday and have a great time. I loved hearing the creek moving next to the cabin at night. It was super relaxing to sit out on the porch and listen to. We all enjoyed smores under the stars and SO much hide and seek. The property owners live close by and were very kind and hospitable. They even made my daughter her favorite birthday cake! 🥰 They also own a goat farm and it was cool waking up and seeing the goats graze. The kids also really lived seeing them. There's a nearby bridge with a spillway where a lot of crawdads spawn and the kids enjoyed catching them. I'm so happy that my 9 yr old girl came up with a cabin getaway as her ideal bday present, it was a great way to unplug and equally focus on enjoying each other's company. Everyone I've shown pictures to has asked where it is so they could go stay there! I hope you get to enjoy it as much as we did.
