Yoga Retreat

I came to Yellow Springs to attend a yoga retreat with friends. The house was perfect- nice extras- fire pit, quiet backyard, tea and coffee station, spices, condiments, games…. The blow drier was broken and when I mentioned it to the owner he thanked me for letting him know so he could replace it. Beds and pillows were super comfy.

50th Little League World Series Reunion

Flew in from Minneapolis to attend the 50th reunion of my Little League World Series girls softball team. Brought my husband and 83 y/o mom and visited many old friends from Huber Heights and Dayton and my cousin & her husband. Great location to meet up and reconnect.

A Great Home Away From Home

We visited Ohio for a wedding and opted to stay in a home rather than the local Marriott. I am so glad we did! We spent each night gathered in the game room talking, playing and watching movies. Each morning started with a family breakfast and I was able to cook. We absolutely loved the home, the yard, the neighborhood.... everything. Thank you! my own meals

Wonderful Stay!

The house is super clean and fully stocked and wonderful! We were traveling to visit family with our 4 year old and LOVED the bunk room, game room and games (husband did too). Highly recommend and the hosts were super proactive in the communication ahead of check in. Cannot say enough good things about our stay!

Next to a Creek without a Paddle

Quiet neighborhood that trains your relaxation response. We enjoyed the dedicated office, cozy sitting room, and the entertainment center. Fully appointed kitchen made it like a home away from home. Location strikes a nice balance between being far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing while also being close enough to be convenient. Highly recommend.

Exceptional Stay in a Picture-Perfect Home

Our recent stay at this rental was nothing short of exceptional. The home accommodated six adults comfortably, exuding warmth and cleanliness throughout. Notably, the well-functioning grill added to the charm, and the electronic dartboard provided lots of competitive fun. The neighborhood was peaceful and perfect for walking, contributing to an overall atmosphere of comfort and tranquility. The highlight, however, was the host's exceptional communication, which enhanced our stay significantly. Quick to respond and incredibly helpful, they added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. In short, for a perfect balance of homely comfort and professional management, we highly recommend this rental. Our stay was truly memorable, thanks to the functionality & cleanliness of the house and the exceptional hospitality of the host.

Beautiful property

The pictures are great but don't even convey how lovely this home is. The owners are incredibly thoughtful and have stocked the home with necessities and things needed in an emergency (sewing kit). It was so comfortable for our family. We'd definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

Generally clean and accessible

We had issues getting in. The intermediary management company sent the wrong door code. Fortunately, the owner was able to resolve the issue within about 10 minutes, although we did have to wait outside in 90-degree heat in the interim. The air conditioning unit also took an inordinate amount of time to cool the property -- about 7 hours. It was set at 80 degrees upon our arrival -- too high , given the weather conditions and the ability of the AC unit to cool the premises. We suggested to the owners that the temperature -- which they can control remotely -- be set at 75 degrees a couple of hours before a guest's arrival so that it can cool adequately in a relatively short time thereafter. One other nit to pick: The lights on the smoke alarms in the bedrooms are motion sensitive, so much so that even turning in bed activated them. When we brought the issue to the owners' attention, the lights were deactivated remotely and caused no further disruptions to sleep. The place was generally quite clean, with the exception of a filthy air vent in the hall ceiling, and worked out well for our group of six. It offered a number of nice amenities, including some children's toys, and would work out well for a small group if the issues mentioned can be remedied. The owners were very responsive, so I am sure they will be on top of this.
