"The rooms were clean, but when we arrived, there was hair in the room that was clearly not mine. I noticed other people’s hair, and I was disgusted by it. The staff were okay, and the whole building was gorgeous, so I enjoyed that. The breakfast was delicious. Sadly, we didn’t have time to use the pool, but hopefully next time we can. Overall, I would give it an 8 out of 10."

"We love staying at this Zaza for Houston museums, zoo, and Hermann park visits. Price is elevated, but the quality of stay is top notch. Very spacious room at standard rate. Turndown service with a Moon Pie or chocolate, and a bottle of water. Over the span of a couple of days, we had an excellent breakfast and excellent dinner at Monarch. This weekend coincided with a prom being held in the big ballroom. The staff runs things so well that, as a guest, this was not a disruption at all to us."
