Wonderful surprise experience in a historic setting which was a surprising find! Lovely escape and comfort beyond belief! Loved the structure and discovery of this historic native land surrounding! Too bad only breakfast offered briefly and no dinner -as the area had little to offer. We found the classic tavern 5 minutes away a wonderful treat, great burgers and cute staff! The chef for breakfast wasn’t the friendliest—-but the breakfast was charming! Coffee great and ambiance amazing throughout the creaky floors and historical walls! Close to the California Redwoods, do a lovely experience! Would go back!

Hello - we are so glad that you found us and enjoyed your stay - we are a small family owned business in a very remote location so we are not able to offer dinner all year long - our breakfast cook is very dependable and does the best that she can - I'm so sorry that she wasn't nice to you - I will have a chat with her - we are always so thankful for our guests and want every moment of their stay to be amazing.... but it is not typical to have the breakfast cook meet the guests. So again I apologize your stay wasn't all it could have been.

Hidden Gem!

Pros: Everything, wonderful friendly staff, beautiful building, great scenery. This place is great.
Cons: Nothing, this place is super charming and adorable.
This place was amazing. The building is very historic and interesting. The room was adorable and so darn comfortable! The pillows alone made my night. I love when I am given both firm and squishy pillows! Cute little bathroom with a claw foot tub, local shampoos, soap, etc are provided and smell wonderful! I checked in and was immediately offered a beer and a place to relax on their wonderful little deck to watch the inlet while relaxing. This place is so quiet and the stars were amazing at night. Fellow guests were lovely and willing to chat or leave you in peace whichever you preferred and the staff was seriously helpful. I only stayed overnight and through breakfast because I was on a motorcycle tour but I will definitely be coming back for a longer even more relaxed stay. I would also like to add that even though this is a little remote the free wifi was incredible and though there is no TV in the room I was able to watch netflix on my ipad without issue.

Absolutely loved this place!!

Pros: Loved the history and charm of this Inn. Loved the cozy comfortable feeling with no TVs. Loved the hot breakfast served to us in a homey dining room
Cons: Can't think of a thing.
Location: The Inn is in a rather remote location but that's what we liked about it. The view was incredible! We walked to the nearby inlet.
I was so excited about staying at this Inn because it sounded like something we'd love. I was afraid of being disappointed though but instead it was even better than expected! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The place charming in every way from the antique furniture, the fire in the fireplace, the books and magazines scattered around, the cookies left for an afternoon snack, the port left out in the evening. We could take a leasurely walk down to the water, the views were incredible, the history of the inn remarkable. The included breakfast was first rate served in a welcoming, homey dining room. My only regret is that I'll probably never get an opportunity to stay there again.

ReQua Inn

Pros: Quiet, quaint, friendly receptionist
Cons: Accurate, more detailed information on your website
Location: Working puzzles, knitting, reading a book on the front porch, hiking/walking just enjoy the solitude and quiet
I was not certain what to expect, it was not located where I thought but the setting was nice, off the 101 by about a mile, on the river so had a great view, historic and old very quaint. No TV, radio, AC. Wifi was out when I first arrived but it was up and usable after about 2 hours. Afternoon was spent working on a puzzle. No dinner served on Monday's or Tuesday's so I had to drive 20 miles into Crescent City for dinner. No one at the desk until 9AM so if you want to check out early make sure you let them know the night before. If you want to get away from it all then this is the place for you!!! It is definitely off the beaten path.
