The room we were checked into was dirty and they didnt have any rooms available at 5pm! When we finally got a clean room the sheets were stained yellow and the window screen was destroyed. I didn’t care about the window screen but I did have to make sure I wasn’t going to get my 100 dollar deposit taken for previous damage to the room. The heater unit also did not work which made for a a fairly cold night. Overall I would never recommend this place to stay at. When I addressed the front counter about my concern with the deposit the lady would not take the time to listen to my concern about the deposit and instead said if I didn’t like it to go some where else that this was a cheap motel and I shouldn’t be expecting much.

Cleanliness has always been our top priority; however, there was an unfortunate delay in getting your room ready before check-in. I will personally talk to our staff regarding this, to make sure that such an incident doesn't reoccur. Also, we do not charge falsely to any of our guests. We do a proper investigation before taking any action. I suspect there must have been some misunderstandings, otherwise, our staff is friendly and polite. Furthermore, your feedback is valuable for us as we strive to improve our services after each stay. Once again, I am sorry for the poor experience. Take care, and stay safe!

It was the most filthy motel I've ever stayed in. We checked in at 6:00 Friday, the rooms were not all ready and the hall had not been vacuumed. There was a vaseline-like substance on the floor by the window in our room. I slipped in it. Once notified, housekeeping was quick to clean it. The rest of the floor was sticky from the disinfecting. We left Saturday morning and were gone all day. When we returned at 6:30, our room had not been touched. We had to get our own towels from the laundry room. We made our own beds and took out our own trash. We were in a non-smoking room, yet the room next to us was full of pot smokers and the stench permeated the halls. The halls still had not been vacuumed. We stayed here because Red Roof Inn had a good reputation. We won't be staying there again.

They no longer have free breakfast and that was one of the factors which led us to book this particular place. But overall there is a much deeper issue. There are a number of policies at this hotel which are designed to inconvenience the local homeless population, with the side effect of inconveniencing hotel guests. Although inconvenience to guests is not the aim of these policies, the result is that this property feels more like an institution than a hotel. Management seems more concerned that they might accidentally make life easier for a homeless person by creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, than they are with creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Room was very clean, beds comfortable, & we loved the pet friendly floors in the rooms! The carpets in halls needed to be replaced. The property in general needed some updates such as paint & general upkeep on the grounds. They may have been in the process of renovating.

The lobby door was the only entrance even with your room key, my guess is because the homeless congregate in the area. When we took our blanket down there was a huge coffee (god I hoped) stain on the bottom sheet. The second bed had a huge yellowish stain on the top blanket which we just pulled off for the kids. When we went to the front to ask for an extra towel they didn’t have any. They told me I’ll bring you one in a few minutes. I’m still waiting. Then when I went to pay the owner did not honor the rates given to me by travelocity. When I said something he just said it’s a service fee, however on my bill there was also a service fee charge. Overall we won’t go back

Nasty dirty carpet in hallway ,stinks, was not from pets either, not in safe area. People unhappy with flexibility in front of me , someone wanted refund in front of me for having to wait 45 min for their room.only good thing was the young man checking us in was cool and calm while manager was running around trying to see if rooms were ready ( it was afternoon )

There's a saying, "you get what you pay for." Apparently, a night's stay doesn't include room service the next day - unless you ask for it. There was a used towel behind one of the night stands when we checked in - and no washcloths. If you like dust bunnies beneath the bed, you'll be happy. And don't pay too much attention to the carpets in the hallways - it didn't look like they'd been shampooed in years. It's a shame. It has a good location & could be a very nice hotel if only they had good housekeeping, grounds maintenance (lots of weeds in the landscaping) and a somewhat better selection of pastries and fruits for their breakfasts (and actual hotwater for tea and coffee, instead of just thermoses).
