The Perfect House for Gathering with Family & Friends
This house could not have been more perfect. The master bedroom is what dreams are made of. The kitchen is the wonderful gathering spot whether you plan on ordering in or cooking up a meal. The bar/ lounge off of the kitchen is another great gathering spot and everyone in our group that liked to keep the drinks flowing hung out in there. If you have some people that need to work remotely, the formal living room was the perfect spot to shut the doors, get lots of sunshine, and make all your coworkers jealous. The yard is nice and spacious, with football (soccer) nets, a trampoline, and basketball hoop, plus a little fox that likes to lay in the sun.
You’re close enough to Edinburgh that it’s easy to get into town via car or public transport, but far enough out that it’s a nice retreat from the city. Inveresk Village and Musselburgh are charming and wonderful to explore. Lots of restaurants, pubs and shops within walking distance. To the Americans- the closest Tesco is the size of your typical American grocery store, and has everything you need. Check out the beach at sunset, it will take your breath away!
Alistair was superb, and so easy to communicate with. Honestly the only downside of this house is we loved it so much we wished we could live there!
