Clean condo with great mountain view. Only downfall was all the steps we had to climb to get to the unit & the hot tub was not in working order. Otherwise condo was well equipped & good location just outside of town.

Not handicap accessible and pool could not be used

Pros: Condo was comfortable and well stocked
Cons: Swimming pool should be accessible without having to notify the desk staff ahead of time, office should keep the hrs posted & staff should be polite.
Location: I was in town to visit family.
Ad does not mention units only accessible by stairs, office hrs irregular, swimming pool access required you to make an appt with the office to have it uncovered, and office did not adhere to posted hrs. Receptionist was rude. Bedding was shabby. Decor is nice and the unit was comfortable and well stocked.

Pros: Office staff helpful and accomodating, outdoor pool.
Cons: If pool is closed due to weather, please "close" the pool by hanging a warning on the pool entrance. The pool was covered, but hot tub accessible
Disappointing, not worth the price. Difficulty accessing wifi, very outdated decor in condo, appliances very outdated.

This condo was a very nice place to stay with a family.

Pros: Quiet, roomy
Cons: ineffective a/c
I chose this condo as opposed to a hotel because we have 3 children, and a hotel room just feels too crowded. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the Ferringway Condos, and the only reason I gave a "good" rating rather than an "excellent" was because of the inadequate air conditioning there. We stayed in June, during an especially hot summer, and the 2 downstairs window A/C units did not cool the 2-story condo effectively. Downstairs was OK, but the upstairs (which had an electric fan, but no A/C unit) was uncomfortably hot. During the winter, this would not be an issue, and the condo we stayed in even had a fireplace with wood provided! I would not hesitate to stay again during the cooler months, and would even give it another shot in the summer - the pros definitely outweighed the cons in my opinion.

We were happy with our stay here

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, cable tv
We had a 2 bedroom unit. We liked the location, the pool, having 2 bathrooms, the kitchen saved us from eating out every day. The staff was very nice to us and allowed us to check in early and check out later than 11. It was comfortable for 2 parents and 2 teenagers. The beds were not comfortable & seemed small (full size) but we could put up with them for a week. Actually the pull out sofa may have been the best bed and queen size. We did have to climb stairs to get to our unit but that was not a problem. We were happy with our stay at Ferringway Condos & would recommend it.

Good value, good location

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
The property is refurbished condos in a variety of configurations, we stayed in a one bedroom with fully equipped kitchen, large dining/living room, bathroom. Very clean, albeit a bit dated, but served the purpose for us, as the base for several day trips in the area. It is not like hotel, with staff tending to customers, and it was fine. Being 3 min from downtown Durango and all the amenities, it was easy to go to restaurants or just meander the local folklore. Word of caution though - if you get a unit on a higher floor (like the 3d floor as we did) going up and down the stairs in the thin air may cause some serious heart rates :)

Roomy, nicely furnished

Very comfortable with fireplace, laundry in condo. This is our third time staying while visiting local relatives. Good for a group of more than 2 people.

Trip to Durango

This was perfect for our vacation. We were only there for three nights but it was wonderful for all of us to have space to spread out and separate bedrooms. We could not have afforded this much space in a hotel - nor would they have had a kitchen, eating area and living room. Really nice decor. Way better price than hotel. Lots of space. My wife & I had our own room while the kids could have theirs. The kitchen was terrific to have snacks and breakfast. This saved us lots on our trip and gave everyone room to spread out. All of us felt like we had a vacation. We are already planning a ski trip back to Durango and stay at Ferringway. It was a really quick drive to the downtown section with great restaurants.
