Had to wait for checking as staff in the toilet and the person there could not check us in ( staff do need toilet breaks ). Went to the room where the window would not shut so cold and drafty 303. Got moved to 309 which was better but to did not work and no one till Monday could fix it. Not ideal as we had time to kill before heading out. Went to the bar for a meal to be told some Nigeria’s about a token for Sunday about food (this was Saturday ) the truth is there was no food service at the bar.
Breakfast was another disaster as put my order I. Then to be told we don’t have certain items, best practice would be to inform guests before they order, plate arrived and asked can I get you anything else and my reply was “ yes the other items of breakfast I ordered” and was offered an apology and the reasoning was it was early and guests arrived together. In fairness the staff were seeet but required a lot of training and guidance which at the end of the day lies with best western. Wong return and definitely not worth the price we paid
