We loved the beautiful rooms, the walkway arches into the stunning gardens, the main house with the 1700 chairs and wall fixtures. It was value for money and a wonderful stay.

The room was (unbeknownst to us at the time of booking online) in the cottages across the property. The room was small & full of flies when we arrived, due to the open windows overlooking the sheep pasture. The pillows were flat & the floors above us were unbelievably loud, when the occupants checked in late, banging things & stomping around in the room until after 2am. Fortunately, the desk staff was quick to pay them a visit at our request. The bar was nice & that staff was attentive, as well. We would not stay in these particular rooms again...maybe in the main building. But, we didn't see (or hear) those rooms to say for sure.
