Christmas House
Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful home with our family. Perfect for our family of 6 adults, 2 children and well behaved labradoodles to meet from destinations from ‘north’ and ‘south’. Grandchildren said ‘this is a Christmas House!’ Funny story…We read about the house ghost, ‘the butler’. My adult son was a little spooked, thought ‘the butler’ made my grandchildren’s beds, until my daughter in law said ‘I don’t think it was the ghost, I think it was your mom!’ :) Happy new year!

College reunion
My friends and I (9 total) thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in this charming historic home! The host was very accessible and quick to respond to questions. The town was delightful. We took a walk to see many other historic homes and there were several locally owned restaurants and a bookstore that we visited. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful house. We had a wonderful stay in Dover with our family attending a wedding at the Z Barn. Great house history and we enjoyed the ability to spread out. The dining room works great for a large group.

Perfect Family Vacation
Our family needed a place for a large group of 12 people for a wedding out of town. We found this place that was perfect. When my wife and I arrived, we were stunned at how great this house was - each room that we went into we were surprised. I was not only clean, but the period decorations were amazing. there were enough beds for each person to have their own without sharing, the 3 full bathrooms were plenty for us all to get ready for our big event. A modern kitchen made it easy for meals. The special note on the message board that the owners left brought tears to my eyes - the fact that they took time to write a special note to the happy couple was special (we took a picture for the album). I reached out several times over the year we had this property book and Brian was very responsive - including local a local diner recommendation that didn't disappoint. we will certainly visit this place again in our travels to Ohio - the pictures don't do this property justice - just stunning. Lovely, comfortable stay
This beautiful, historical property had every needed amenity (and then some) and delivered that home-away from home level of comfort and convenience. Short drive to Amish country and easy access to I-77 for day trip to Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton. The home was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch swing in the evenings, as well as the visits from the friendly, orange and white neighborhood kitty. Would definitely stay again!

Great house and location
Wonderful hosts. Enjoyed ambience of this historic house. Amenities were as described. We had everything we needed. LOVED the porch. Attractions we saw were all within 25 minutes. Host went out of his way to help us out with a personal need. Great area to walk to nearby coffee shop or just take a walk. Highly recommend!!
