"We stayed at the Hilton for one night in a family room that accommodated two adults and three children (aged 7, 14 and 17). We had plenty of space, with three large beds and a pull-down bed which worked perfectly for the teenagers. The bathroom was spacious, and the dressing area provided ample room for all of our luggage. Unfortunately, we were disappointed that the fridge in our room was not working, meaning the few items we had planned to store had to be discarded. The shower drain also kept blocking up. We reported both issues to management, but as we only had around five hours in the room before our early start, there was little opportunity for repairs to be carried out during our stay. Check-in was slightly slow, although this was probably due to other guests arriving after flight disruptions and needing accommodation. The location is excellent, with the terminal only a few minutes’ walk away. Sadly, we did not have time to make use of the facilities or restaurants, but they appeared to be of a good standard. Overall, I would recommend the Hilton. Had it not been for the fridge and shower issues, I would have happily given it a five-star rating. Hopefully next time our experience will be faultless."

"This place is incredibly convenient if you need a quick place to stay. As soon as you deplane, catch the train to T5, and take the lift to the ground floor of the terminal and follow the signs. If you need a car, the SIXT station is also available. Upon entry, there were multiple desks to check in, which is great if you are exhausted. There were several restaurants to eat from. From there, the rooms were so nicely renovated. It was such a great experience. I had a luxury room which included a minibar for free. It was nicely stocked and cold. The bathroom was nice as well. Spacious and the tub was clean. I took the most lovely bath which practically had me unconscious within minutes, lol. The staff were friendly and as mentioned, it’s incredibly convenient. I fully intend to stay there again."

"Impossible to contact hotel-tried for over an hour before eventually getting through on a mobile. Restaurant closed. Have to book in via online system no more than 3 hours beforehand to get access to car park and room including govt approved documents-I was driving down from Manchester so impossible to do before arriving-expected to park on road to do so! MAJOR road! Customer service utterly useless/refused to pass me on to a manager! Online systems didn’t work for booking anyhow. Didn’t stay in the end ( total loss of confidence in hotel/staff/ systems etc.) went somewhere else. SHOCKING!"
